I used to fish there every evening 6 or 7 years ago..... the fish were running to around 20lb max then, whats the stamp of fish like in there now? Notice there are some commons in there too now, those are new.... I'm moving back to the UK next week so i'm planning on picking up where i left off........... can't wait to get bagging on there again!
Hey dude, this is my local "big carp lake". The average stamp is mid to high doubles. With plenty of commons and mirrors going into high twenty's and a few to mid 30 :). Boilies are the typical approach from most the carpers there and i'd say on an average day its very possible to take 300lbs out in a day. Good days exceed this! Some people ive spoken to on walks around the lake claim to have gone 550lbs plus in a 12-14 hour session!!! But there is plenty in there and its unbeatable for £7.00. Best carp lake on offer for that price in the area!!! :) Tight lines Steven Archer :)
