Wonderfully made video, Rhonda. I admire all of you TH-camrs who can explain things well and produce such helpful movies. Your voice is calming, too! best, Kathy
Awesome! I did last year exactly 5 playing cards, same technic yet only with coffee dyed paper not with spray stains. Its since then on my to do list to do again 🤣 thanks for showing and reminding me
I think that was me. lol I still have a bunch left. I was thinking using the bigger ones for the backgrounds of an accordion book perhaps. If you do it, I want to see. 😃Thanks for the watch & comment. ❤
Cool Rhonda! Cool! Why I love medical exam paper so it is tough and dries transparent when collaged with matte medium or my beloved liquid starch. Spray the back of the paper with water before applying, add medium of choice and watch it dissolve into the page. Hope you are still safely away from the fires! 🙏🏼
@@walterfarrell6107I’m in love with liquid starch but sadly they are discontinuing it! It is my go cheap and environmentally friendly. I have a half gallon jug but am contemplating buying another at the grocery store for 3.49 locally. Amazon wants a fortune! I don’t care if my work outlasts the cockroaches so it suits me to use and I don’t feel precious about using it. I’ve also almost used a roll of headrest sized medical exam paper this year another cheapo way to keep creative without breaking the bank! Just me being thrifty and frugal! That said I did splurge on some Artgraf tailor chalk 6 piece earthtones and am in LOVE with them!
Your way of diatressing cards seems very cathartic...I am going to give it a try. 😊 Btw...I am one who sands and bends and wrinkles the cards...the aggression depriciation method😂
What a lovely Grungy effect, thanks for the inspiration

Great technique Rhonda. I had just learned a similar technique with tea bags and magazine images. Both are interchangeable. Thanks 🙏
