Sounds like some arguments I have with my mom! I tend to overreact in those situations and immediately jump to the conclusion we’re never going to have the same close relationship we had again. But truth is their tiny arguments and in the end we’re always going to be close and love each other to the moon and back! It’s nice to hear a story similar to that. You and Ellie will always have the same close relationship you have now, you’ll love each other to the moon and back. It’s normal to have these little bumps.

During my marriage I dealt with a lot of verbal abuse, shouting and just pure chaos. I swear my ex thrives on chaos and noise. So now whenever anybody raises their voice and I feel it is directed at me I immediately get in defense mode and most of the time they are not directing this at me. Lol.......even when my daughters(they are in their late 20s) yell at each other which they very rarely do I get really upset but that is all I’ve known for 25 years so when I left the home it felt really strange to not hear the tv on surround sound or people yelling back and forth to each other. That’s a cute story of you and Elle and sending you flowers is the sweetest. Your lucky to have each other. ❤️
