      One of the best ever. Right up there with eternal enemies. Even the follow up seasons to savage kingdom don’t compare to this epic documentary. I love how they did this. With each episode providing the different view point of the same scene from one of the four species they focused on. There is a great symposium somewhere on here with one of the producers. The guy who was responsible for filming the saba over months and months. He said she became so comfortable with him being around that when he pulled up she would come lay under his truck for shade. He said it took a while. But there was one point at night where he felt a crawling like feeling on his calf. He looked down and it was her smelling his leg. Anyhow. He had lots of great stories. If you look up the producers names, you could prob find it in a search here on YT. Edit: I looked it up. Brad Bestelink. It’s a five or six part talk he does.

Mr. Dance make this Story complete with his clear, speaking, finding cool words for dramatic scenes - and best of all we see not just Lions, Leopards or Hyenas, each with a whole Familystory, the intruduction of these Buffalos, the warthog, that runs for his live, turning into pieces in seconds by Wilddogs... It's just amazing how respectful the lion placed down the dead leopard cub, I always imagined them to just throw it into the grass.

      The way I interpreted this is the lion did that to rub it in Saba's face. "what are you going to do about it?"

    • @commonsense1527
      @commonsense1527 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      Nothing about that indicates "respect". You are reading too much into the situation.

      @@commonsense1527 Not really, I get their point of view. I’ve seen documentaries of lions tearing Cubs apart or tossing them in the air, playing with them while they still alive catching then realizing it again and again. Eating them in front of the mothers. Typically it happens with males and adolescent groups. So compared to that I’d say it respectful. Well as respectful as killing a cub can be.😂

    • @commonsense1527
      @commonsense1527 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      @@ginnyweasley8665 There's nothing to indicate that the lion believes laying the cub down would be more respectful than tossing him in the air or playing catch n' release with him. It seems that people are projecting their own feelings on the lion when they assert that he's acting with that intent.

      They have cameras now that can tape almost 3_4 miles away, plus these rangers and producers have been in these animals life's since they were babies, following them and learning about them so the animals by now are very comfortable with them that's why in lion and lionesses videos they walk right past the people recording some animals after having babies will bring their babies around them to show them off ,
