Josh, you're a talented developer, but it seems like this might be a case of searching for a problem to fit the technology rather than developing technology to solve a problem. As a dev I wouldn’t pay for this as I can easily build these components myself in minutes. Also if you do get customers, I imagine your churn is going to be super high because I feel since once the dev has the code, why continue? Perhaps I’m missing something but just giving honest feedback. But good luck to you and i hope I am wrong.
Thanks for sharing your journey, the project concept and design are amazing 🎉, I'm kinda on the same journey for my first ever client as a nextjs web dev, each day feels like a milestone and ticking of those to-dos gives next level dopamine, just about to finish it and I feel the same energy as you 😅
The fact that you yourself learned so much from doing this project is really motivating to me, even though I learned so much from your tutorials I see that you also have a lot to learn! It makes me realise that you are not some magical coding-wizard and I can learn the skills if I put in the work. I will never stop learning new amazng things and that is why I want to become a programmer! Love to see you making a youtube video again btw, ur a G.
I really appreciate you being open about not being sure if Vercel is the best option long term, would love to hear an honest update after you get more users from this post and how your infra has worked for you and what you might change
What a very cool project man, ignore the haters, I really appreciate the effort you put on this project, the complexity, the clean UI/UX, its just perfect.
Really nice idea, man, congratulations with launch! Could you make a video explaining how to manage "optimized videos" with adaptive streaming and how infrastructure would look like for such functionality ?
Following your videos for some time, really cool stuff. The UI of the project looks great, really slick and nice UX! The UI for capturing reviews is really nice but the code export, especially limiting it to React doesn't really stick to me personally. I would rather recommend providing something simpler for export like an with all the reviews in the same way like some tools handle social feeds like Instagram. You just copy an and put it on your website and new approved reviews will automatically appear. I think this is more valuable for a product/business owner than just exporting individual React components, you want these reviews to automatically appear as soon as you approve them. This way, the can be used in any codebase and you don't have to update it, you just throw it in there once and forget about it.
@@Blast-Forward Having the abiity to both embed the review for websites like webflow, and having the ability to copy paste the react components, is something I would love
My guys there a lots of use cases. First of all its a SASS. Meaning its a business that can generate revenue monthly with subscriptions to access the conponents or make people pay per component straight up. This can make a lot of money. Also its a web development application where people will go to copy and laste and read stuff the user retention and bounce rate will be off the charts... its not just you read a single thing and you leave, its a tool therefore people will stay for longer, tbat means better SERP results. And this is actually usefull unlike all the other youtuber courses showing how to make a to-do list, social media app clone and other useless shits telling you that will land you a job. That my friend is the kind of project that lands you a job. Because its useful and unique, complex, complete, and it takes time and proper project management practices, systems and structure. This is probably the best project he has built for himself. Look at shadcn, aceternity those guys are successful as fuck bro.
You are creating really awesome videos josh, I have a request for you I searched lot of content related to AWS who teach in such a way, but couldn’t find any could you please also create videos who teach AWS practically with use cases and code.
man distribution is more important than actual building the product! first time founders are obessed with product second time founder is obsessed with distribution.
Brooo be careful with those lambda costs! XD 60 seconds of watch time will cost 1 cent and if anyone uses your premium service and happens to blow up, those video reviews could sting. If you already considered this, then have at it! All the best!
I think the video streaming component could be a separate product in itself. Like Theo's UploadThink, but "VideoStreamingThing". To charge for it inside video reviews seems... strange
Hello, first of all greate video. I wanted to ask, you mention that vercel could get really expensive in a project, what is the best choice for a next js project that is getting bigger?
if its so AWS heavy, why not use SST to deploy on AWS instead of vercel. Or if you already use cloudflare you can host the project on cloudflare pages too.
Hey josh , really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you with more Quality Editing in your videos and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail and also help you with the overall youtube strategy and growth ! Pls let me know what do you think ?
I like the idea, feels original, feels catered to developers, definitely seems like a lot of potential for startups in the tech community. Keep up the good work Josh!
Someone remembered their TH-cam password 😂
😂😂
Inb4 he forgets it again
🤣
🤣🤣
I can feel the perfection you put into this 🔥

Thank you for sharing your efforts and results. Lots of stuff to manage before the end results.
That's sick. Very nice job man

I don’t really understand the use case of this product
It's been a while nice to see you again and thanks for sharing your work and efforts
appreciate ya dude

dude thanks so much, very good feeback. appreciate it
Happy to see you after a long time josh.
That's an awesome project. ❤
What's cool is you work on actual projects, that very cool I think it can only make your advice better!
I think you build a Saas that's in my todo list😅
lol the 0 users part took me out lmaooooo
I don't understand this product ?
Is it a component library ? Or platform for users to give reviews
It's a platform to give and receive reviews, but on the other end, you can get them as react components to put your on your landing / sales page.
Would you not rather embed such reviews into your website or app and rely on the external API?
@@Blast-Forward Having the abiity to both embed the review for websites like webflow, and having the ability to copy paste the react components, is something I would love
@@Blast-Forward most review platforms don’t offer apis, that’s why most testimonials are screenshots
that testimonial step modal looks clean! would love to see how you implement this
Is hardcoding really the solution? How do you handle GDPR if a user wanna withdraw their review?
My be few tutorials on great saas architectures, with gotchas and cypress testing.
That's awesome saas and keep going
It would be nice to have a component like carousel for landings. So your users could embed in into their landings. Like "These people recomend us".
I thought you left TH-cam. I can't wait for you to share more.
Why? I really don't understand what for is this project?
Money
You are a business owner and You want to collect reviews from people in a very easy way and display them on your page.

You also clearly don't understand what for is English
would love to have a complete tutorial on this or a sneek peek like how you made this, what you use like a roadmap structure

Hi Josh, your app's UI looks really nice. Can you share if you are using any design system / UI component library?
The playwright is much better than cypress
I tried playwright after selenium and holy shart it was so much better
Is this alternative to trusted review ?
Good job! That is so rad
man distribution is more important than actual building the product!

C'mon man you're finally back, we missed u bro
Welcome in you TH-cam channel 😂, nice work 🎉 . Just in mobile screen you are missing some responsiveness
Brooo be careful with those lambda costs! XD 60 seconds of watch time will cost 1 cent and if anyone uses your premium service and happens to blow up, those video reviews could sting. If you already considered this, then have at it! All the best!
I like this idea, would love to see more
I'd look into using mux for video processing. Have used them on a sass of mine for years and have paid virtually nothing
Is this something you worked on completely by your self? Or do you have a team with you? Like how do you pick the design to go for?
Also, great job man, insanely impressive... you're making everyone else look bad haha :D
Like to see your progress

just watched a 7 minute nerdsplosion
Hopefully we can end Trustpilots monopoly 😂
can you make the video on the aws infra you have used,
Can you please make a tutorial for a project with heavy AWS?
great job
Have waited long for you
Harkirat's Project Recommendation?

I haven't tested the product yet, but I'm wondering what sets this SaaS apart from other open-source or paid options?
link to the open source one please
I very glad see you 🎉
how do we show code snippet examples like in here on a react application created using vite?
Hi josh I'm trying to join your discord server but this invite link is invalid or has expired is showing
How did you do image processing in a lambda on aws? Did you just use Sharp, and you need all the memory so you can load up the entire image?
thanx could u make a project same feature of aws uploading streaming videos
Bro is backkkkk
Did you create custom UI for this SASS or bought if from somewhere?
Hey josh , really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you with more Quality Editing in your videos and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail and also help you with the overall youtube strategy and growth ! Pls let me know what do you think ?
Cool nice 👍
I really like the ui… please just make a video about the ui please
Teach us how to build react library and publish it to npm
3 months for this..?
That's what I am thinking 😂
Josh which ui library you used to create the saas?
I don't know that we need more SaaS or pre-made components. Just kinda re-inventing the wheel it feels.
Why don't you use vitest?
Sick 👌
a landing page for the review applications does not have reviews on it. Josh come and explain yourself
I'm ready to copy your idea
are you interested in building a chess Club Homepage? 😄
I was just trying to replace your video pop up
Please make a video on Firebase app Hosting
Can we see the source code for that?
Wow!
This project is sick
Yeah it is
Inspiring🎉❤
forgive me. But, where is the SaaS Course. Please
Isn't this just Senja io?
I am stupid and I cannot read, Josh. So what?!
Incredible useless 😂
I like the idea, feels original, feels catered to developers, definitely seems like a lot of potential for startups in the tech community. Keep up the good work Josh!
Ew, not responsive!
Not a big fan of the title font tbh
You get lazy over time. I like to follow your SaaS but you don't do them anymore. Makes SaaS with AI, we want to follow
3 months are you crazy. I would build this in a week wtf is this
Useless
payment gateway did you use lemonsqueezy?
bro you should export reviews as widget like js script to make it visible on html websites...nobody need react component
I think most of his viewers use React at the very least her and there. But it’d be a good idea to have both options for users
pricing page is broken. 400: BAD_REQUEST
