The Olympic rock climbing participants have to do 3 different events and the top at all 3 events get to go to the Olympics…the fastest speed climber doesn’t go because they suck at bouldering and sport climbing… the event tests the best “all around” climber…even though speed climbing isn’t considered climbing by most climbers…just by dumb euros.

Spent a week diving down this women vs men in sport thing during the pandy. Only thing women even get close to holding record number or do hold record numbers on an even field against dudes is super ultra marathons. Like 250km plus, more natural fat reserves make for more energy down the line.
