The LS2 Breaker Helmet takes a sleek, low profile shell and elevates it with some serious reinforcements. The Breaker Helmet has a shell that’s constructed from the lightweight Kinetic Polymer Alloy for high penetration resistance. Additional features of the LS2 Breaker Helmet include a Fog Fighter face shield, an inner sun shield, and top and chin vents with a rear exhaust port for ventilation.

I know this is an older video but for anyone that is looking at this helmet and wondering about the comms issue, I just purchased this helmet and I use a Cardo Packtalk Bold. I managed to slip the holder for the Cardo in the small space between the front of the visor slider and the actual front of the helmet. If you have a shop close to you and they have this helmet in stock, go by and look at it. I like the helmet so far. And if you can look at it and you have a similar comms system, you'll see the space I'm talking about. Doesn't mount as flush as if it were on the side but it works and it won't fall off.

Is this recommended for someone who has more of a rounded head than intermediate oval? Also, if you're wearing eyeglasses, are both of the Breaker's visors considerate of that situation? Thank you.
No, this is really an intermediate oval shape, so it isn't good for a round oval head. Also, both visors work with glasses, though it can be slightly difficult to slide glasses on due to the cheek pads. Consider the selection of round oval helmets instead. -DrewZilla

SkuzzyJ thank you for the clarification. I know that sometimes articles can be one sided. Revzilla is a great source and Anthony has done such a great job on reviews. I have only seen this review and I am sure lots of fans and customers want to know that he will still be a staple to the Revzilla brand. These guys have really done a great job building and becoming a powerful online presence. Although I do not shop online for specialty items for my Ducati. I have a great appreciation for the Revzilla family as a motorcyclist.

There is no PinLock system on this helmet, but the shield is coated for both fog and scratch resistance. -TeamZilla Chris

It really depends whether you want an internal sun visor or not. Both have a similar polycarbonate shell construction, so the main differentiator is the sun visor. -DrewZilla

Would the sun visor interfere with glasses? You mention that it doesn't put much pressure on the nose, but that makes me wonder if it's too close to the face for glasses wearers
No, the sun visor does not interfere with most glasses. I wear glasses and can use this helmet's sun visor just fine. -DrewZilla
I bought this helmet today. while trying i wore my glasses. While getting the glasses in any helmet is a task but once u do wear it & bring the sun wiser down it doesn't bother u at all.

Both are great options from LS2. They just designed one with a Fiber Glass shell (the Citation) and another with their proprietary KPA (Breaker) shell. However both offer great features for the cost and you can't really go wrong with either. Hey, how loud is this helmet?
I have an AGV K3, which i think is loud, and i'm looking for a new helmet.
Currently looking at this, an HJC IS-17 and a Shark Vision R
It should be a bit quieter than the K3, but helmets are generally louder than many people expect a helmet should be. The HJC and Shark are also pretty average for noise. We always recommend wearing earplugs to reduce long-term hearing loss. -DrewZilla

Correct, Pinlock is not an option for the Breaker, and there is no separate shield/lens available. For a similar Pinlock-ready helmet, consider the HJC IS-17. -DrewZilla

Which one would you suggest between LS2 Breaker and MT Thunder 3 SV?

How does it compare with the Icon Alliance?
Both have polycarbonate shells, and both weigh around 3.6 pounds. Both are also DOT and ECE rated for safety. The LS2 face shield is a lot easier to remove compared to the Icon face shield, though. Now there are two versions of the Alliance: the regular Alliance and the Alliance GT. Like the Breaker, the GT has an internal sun visor, while the regular Alliance does not. That makes the Breaker a bit better value for similar quality. -DrewZilla

I own this helmet and those damn cheek pads consistently put out, like every time i use the helmet. Was thinking of using crazy glue on them to stop this. I dont wear the helmet anymore because of this. Were i live the EMT's are going to be coming, and if they happen to show up, they are not going to know how to remove this. I bet my life on it :)
I had a girlfriend that consistently put out every time I used a helmet back in the day : )

I would go for the Breaker. The Stream uses one shell-size for the entire run of sizes. So a SM will be the same size (on the outside) as an XL, just with different padding on the inside. If you have a small noggin, you may or may not look like a bobble-head while wearing it. The Breaker, on the other hand, has 3 shell sizes. So you can get a better fit that is more compact. -Kraus-e

this helmet gets a lot of air noise starting 90kph specially when the air vents are open. :(

The LS2 Vector (now called the Citation) is the nicer helmet with its fiberglass composite shell, so if you have the budget for it, go with the Vector/Citation. -DrewZilla

No, it only has a clear outer shield. The inner drop-down visor has a smoke tint though. -DrewZilla

If you cannot afford the Breaker, the Stream is still a very nice helmet at a very good price. The internal sun visor is a nice added feature. -DrewZilla

No, there are not really any US-models from LS2 that have Round Oval internal head shapes. are there any SNELL rated helmets with a drop down internal visor?
No. There was at one point a long time ago, the Scorpion EXO-1000, but it was incredibly heavy. -DrewZilla
could it be that no one wants to build one that meets SNELL for cost and weight reasons? I am sure they dont even apply for SNELL with them. HOw about EC rating are any interior visor helmets meeting european standards?

The LS2 Breaker is better if you have a size XS or Small head, as there are 3 shells used for the 6 sizes, whereas the HJC only has 2 shell sizes for the size range. However, if you ride in cold and/or wet weather a lot, the HJC has a Pinlock-ready face shield, so you can easily add a Pinlock anti-fog insert lens. -DrewZilla

put your money towards a decent helmet, i bought this helmet and it's a bag a shite, looks great and seems to have everything you need from a helmet at a really low price but it really is the noisiest helmet i've ever owned and as another person on here wrote, there is that much air flowing into the helmet it's cold.
Just depends on preference really, I am always too hot in any helmet but this one does a pretty good job of getting some airflow

you fools. i got FOOLED. This helmet is REALLY noisy in the left side!!!!!!!!!!!! That leverage for pulling the sunglasses up and down causes HUGE noise on that side cause of wind over 80KPH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This helmet is TRASH, i had to COVER the leverage, making it unusable and the holes begin it in order to have a FUNCTIONING helmet. Go trust reviews who DONT TRY THE MERCH. also, it's kinda heavy, i would not recommend.
Worst helmet I ever owned......ridiculously loud wind noise and bloody cold too......visor leaks in the rain so you not just get wet sticking to the outside but the inside too........I never knew there were helmets only made for Summer riding, I guess this is the first one.....looks nice but a complete waste of money
you need to cover the leverage and holes, noise almost goes away. It's comparable with my old good Axo helmet.
