Only once in my neck of the woods [NY] have I had the chance to witness the EAS being activated, interrupting The Weather Channel broadcasting - two or so years ago. Interesting, seems kinda pointless though for TWC when EAS activations concerning weather are concerned - since you're already getting weather information from TWC.
Its required to have the EAS system able to run. It doesn't matter if it's a weather channel. But it is kinda pointless.. other to give me a heart attack.
here's what happened in April there was a squall line that produced tornadoes it was scary a few hours later another tornado was produced near here it was much much scarier man that was scary
