I grew up in Cambodia, and I can tell you, many people know who Kissinger is, and what he did. He facilitated the Khmer Rouge coming to power, and they will never forget.
Here in Latin America we all known a lot about him. He is a kind of Adolf Hitler for us... But dont wory, we also already had a lot of mussolinis and francos inside our countries. And this tragedy is basicaly the cause of the latin america massive emigration in the last four decades.
In November 1975 Kissinger said to the Thai foreign minister about the Khmer Rouge regime "You should tell the Cambodians that we will be friends with them. They are murderous thugs but we won't let that stand in our way."
After Vietnam invaded Cambodia and overthrew the genocidaI Khmer Rouge in less than 3 weeks Kissinger advised the US government to apply sanctions to Vietnam and to encourage China to support the ousted Khmer Rouge rebel army. He also advised the US government to supply funding and arms to the Khmer Rouge rebels and to vote yearly until 1993 for the ousted Khmer Rouge to retain Cambodia's seat at the UN. Great guy indeed.
As you yoy should never forget...tell the truth...stay strong,,,stay true

Make sure it is taught in the schools in Cambodia so the past will not repeat itself but with a different egomaniacal nut. In the US they are trying to erase slavery and the slaughter of Native Aboriginals from being taught in schools cause they feel it brings a bad light on their ancestors deeds. Its those who are continually committing crimes against other humans who are trying to cover up the past for their ill gotten gain's
Terrifying to think of the number of people killed or whose lives were ruined as the result of this man's policies and absolute disregard for human life.

I worked in the same building as him back in the 90's on Park Avenue in New York and saw him often in passing. He was a nasty, mean spirited individual - he had a male assistant that he spoke to in an extremely belittling and demeaning manner all the time, I felt empathy & sympathy for that man, working for this horrible individual. I understood very little about his political activities, this has certainly enlightened me - all I did know was how he treated another human being on a personal level, which was horrible.

Of course he's free. USA is egregiously notorious for not pursuing any accountability in regard to criminal politicians.
America has never supported human rights unless it could be used as some sort of propaganda.
Indeed. USA ignores the criminals while the USSR would simply do away with them once they were no longer of use.
I draw this comparison because both countries have/had an insufferable amount of pride and where strength had to always be projected at all times. USSR had it's downfall when the house of cards collapsed while the USA continues on all the while ignoring or covering up the corrupt.

@@Sombriage Where is the similarity when you correctly identify that the two differing systems had such widely differing reactions, and one outcome is in regard to regime dissent and the other in regard to the criminality of politicians gone bad.

I don't think "American exceptionalism" fully explains the reluctance or incapacity of the US for constructive self-awareness but yes, it does go some distance.

RIP BOZO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Like they say in my neighborhood, ' Don't hate the player, hate the game.'
I started calling him a criminal more than 50 years ago. It’s always been an enigma as to the many who have not called him out and who have instead done the opposite.
It is not Henry Kissinger who was the devil. It was the United States' Government that accepted the policy proposals of Kissinger that was the murderer. The Amirican people who allowed their government to carry out murderous foreign policies. Leave Kissinger celebrate his 100 in peace.
His statements on the NWO should be telling, but nooo, that's all just "conspiracy theories." We have to wait for the presstitutes to tell us the "truth", or "fact" check.
A good friend worked at The Bohemian Grove for more than 10 years in the 90's and aughts. One afternoon, while preparing the lunch buffet, he heard the distinctive voice right behind him saying "Well young man what is on the menu today?" When he turned around there was HK standing extremely close wearing only flip-flops and a red speedo. My friend said "My eyes burned for 3 days".
Christ! Mine are burning just reading about it.😳
Tina turner passed away yesterday and Henry is still alive.
Evil take forever to die, I’m surprised Rush Limbaugh is gone!
Yeah, the most beautiful of humanity always leave us young ...
Yea, he makes himself live so he can continue to bring death
@@erincaitlin1655 Ms Turner lived to 83.
Than you, Mehdi!!! The horror is to painful to be prolong by silence or omission
Bravo, Mehdi and team, keep up the top level research and reporting.
And young people at the age of 20 and 30 years suffer from physical or psychological problems, and politicians at the age of 80, 90, and 100, and their health is very good.
Yeah, Biden voted for the Iraq war and he's in relatively good health (I mean, for an 80 year old with dementia)
Evil never dies
ya thats proof there no such thing as karma.é...stalin killed millions played god in a way and died of naturalk causes
@Needmy Wokebear Qool story Qomrade.
That's because their healthcare is paid for by the American taxpayers. We have to pay for our own.
Thank you Mehdi. Most Americans do not have a clue on many of the actions done in their name! His day of reckoning will come sooner than later. As we all know, the arc of the moral universe is long but it bends toward justice!
And to thing that this global criminal won a Nobel Peace Prize.
Excellent reporting/broadcast Mehdi. The business of 'Broadcast News' needs more journalists like you.
There was always something about Kissinger I didn't like, but I couldn't quite pinpoint it. I was young and stupid then. Now I know what it was. Thank you.
It's never too late to charge him with war crimes. It's too late when he's dead.
I can't believe he is still alive. He was old to me when he was working with Richard Nixon on Vietnam War, China, Soviet Union in the late 1960's and 1970's. I think he continued on with Gerald Ford too. Unbelievable.
must be adrenochrome. also, look at Fauci. he looks way too young for 85. these people are satanic.
Replace "working" with "mass-murdering" and your description would be more accurate.
And replace "still alive" with "undead".
Thank you so much for saying the truth outloud on mainstream media Mehdi. You are legend for this. ❤
So, what makes him NOT a sociopath?
The fact that he got the Nobel "Peace" prize instead of being tried for war crimes and other criminal culpabilities - that says enough - if it needed to be said again - about the nostril-assailing stench of politics.
Thank you, Mehdi Hasan, for giving voice to what most of the mainstream media prefers to wrap in a mantle of silence.
I have to question the group that awards the Nobel Peace Prize to such a man. How does that work behind closed doors?
Obama got a Nobel prize and he invaded and decimated as many countries as George Bush did in his tenure. it means nothing.
Fantastic reporting thank you
Why don’t Americans don’t understand and acknowledge their wrong doing against innocent civilians
If I remember correctly protecting Kissinger is why the US has never become a member of The World Court.
Whats the world court
That's the one where the US want to see Putin. It's (almost) hilarious.
Kissinger owes it all to his "magic murder bag"
I understood that reference.
