The transactional mindset indicates that love is something to be given (when earned), and taken, as opposed to experienced and received. Love's highest ideal, and I would say true nature, is antithetical to transactional mindset because it is completely unconditional.

Independence means being self sufficient, even when you are with a partner. It means you are liberal-minded and liberal-spirited. It means you can survive on your own, you can make responsible decisions on your own, you can plan on your own life and still work towards it.

Everybody needs to satisfy their needs for themselves the term independent brings about the idea of not needing anyone at all. You can't be independent and have a partner, that makes him your b*tch nothing less. My point being you can't be miss independent and have a man by your side. It doesn't work that way one of you have to submit to the other. More so look at your dad and your moms relationship one must submit to the other for it to work and you know it.

Women want men to be helping in house chores and still be giving in 100%..
..we are just in the denial stage..it depends on how you agree with your partner..
The western world has the gender equality but African side we are heading there coz we still have the mentality that we have been taught that woman is supposed to be a house wife and a man is supposed to provide 100%..#the african world is changing due to western culture exposure 😊

We have a long way to go when it comes to gender and equality in Kenya. And what that even looks like in our society. Women want to be compensated equally in the workplace and treated with an equal amount of respect and acknowledgement. No special treatment, no fucking participation awards. I just want an equal playing ground. I once knew a guy in my industry who simply could not take instructions from a woman, he would actually just ignore. We would have to speak through other men, to communicate with him. Now that is just ridiculous. At the same time there are women who genuinely believe all women belong at home and not in the work place. There are also certain jobs that prefer hiring a woman to man. Like mortuaries prefer to hire women, because apparently men where known to have sex with the dead bodies. Care takers and nurses are also preferably female.

Ukicheki hadi shule, for example university course choice, why would ladies be given lower cutoff points than men?
Hakuna gender equality, it's ladies being favoured and that makes them even lazy Juu wanajua watapewa priority.
Equality to me means we go to the same battle field and whoever wins wins.
Men and women can never be equal. The way we handle situations and control our emotions is very different.
Women want to be given same priorities as men but tukifika job wanaanza kusema wananyesha wanafaa wapewe Day off for that, seriously?
