Your gorgeous 🤭 I think shaving my face rlly does help and makes me look “clean” in a way and gives glow to my face although sometimes I get cuts from shaving. Idk if it’s the razor or the way I use it 💀😭
Thank you so much ❤️. Oh no! It could be either! It could be the razor. I’m very picky with my razors 😂.. maybe that comes with being an este but.. I lovee the skinny confidential razors. I buy a bunch when they have sales. Way better than anything I get on Amazon. Shaving with a cleansing oil has also made things way easier and smoother for me. I find it’s easier for the blade to go too deep when the skin is dry
Yes! If you don’t experience any irritation with your retinoid you can just shave your face on any non retinoid day. And then afterwards I’d skip the next day for the retinol. If you want to stay of the safe side and you’re worried about irritation you can skip two days in between too.
Is it possible that especially sensitive skin types are prone to develop pimples after shaving your face?🤔 I‘ve tried several times and the look right after shaving is amazing but about 1-2 days later, my face seems quite irritated😩
Yess definitely possible. It’s not for everyone and so many little things about how you shave your face can impact the outcome as well. Especially for sensitive skin types
I just get my face waxed 🤷🏾♀️ But, I must say your vids on tretinoin encouraged me to look into back in the summer and OMG my skin is glowing. Great advice!
I have my routine maybe a few videos before this. I’ll make a full length video. But just double cleanse and make sure your skin is completely clean. I shave my face with a cleansing oil. When I’m done I rinse it off and use gentle skincare
Sorry it didn’t work for you. The method, skincare routine, and skin type can play a factor. As with everything in beauty, it’s not for everyone. But it doesn’t grow hair thicker. The color, thickness, and speed of hair growth is established within the root of your hair and is predetermined by your genetics and hormones. When the hair grows back it may seem more noticeable for a short period of time because shaving gives hair a blunt cut. Just as when you get a hair cut your ends may feel thicker, but it doesn’t mean cutting your hair gave you thicker hair. ❤️

It happens to boys because they are going thru puberty. The hair was going to come in darker and thicker anyways, shaving takes away the thin blonde ends.
Oh no! Sorry it didn’t work for you 🥺It’s not for everyone like anything else in beauty. The products, skin type, protocol can all effect the outcome too.
I’m starting micro needling next month. Never had Botox. Lip filler 3 years ago. Edit! Oh wait I did have Botox for my teeth grinding long ago but I don’t think you care about that .. wasn’t for aesthetics.. but I wanted to mention …
I’ll be 30 this year and I’ve been using tretinoin since I was 25 or 26. The retinoid glow is real.. especially with a combo of hydrating skincare- hydrating essence, serums.. I also always apply hydrating products to damp skin which locks in the hydration and makes it last longer. I think I don’t have forehead wrinkles because I consciously haven’t been moving my forehead since 2008 😂.. like I literally remember my mom telling me not to because of wrinkles.. now if I scrunch my forehead it feels very strange.. now that I’m older I use microcurrent and Gua sha multiple times a week, which I really believe in and I think it works best for prevention ❤️❤️
Does the hair get noticeably darker? Or grow faster with shaving? I have been using thread to clean my upper lip area for years. It was supposed to slow my hair growth rate there. But, I feel like it is growing more noticeable nowadays. That's why I have been holding back on the idea of shaving. 🥲 The clean look on the skin is very tempting.
@@dearcupid. Yeah, it's a huge commitment. I have to keep doing it for the rest of my life😅. Peach furs are not that noticeable if not done regularly. But black coloured follicles.. Ohh yeah😂😅.

Ur sooo beautiful !!! just wondering, if i use retinol every other day or so, should i avoid shaving for a few days before/after ?

It can also make cystic acne worse
Face shaving should never be done over acne in the first place. I’m sorry it made your acne worse.
Which professional skin treatments have you gotten done and have you ever got Botox/filler?
