So when mining on venus stand still with your jetpack off other wise the pressure will toss you into the rocks, and that the underground is your friend, voxels air tight makes the start a little easier
If you max out your suit temp then it doesn't have to cool as much. Similar goes for minimising your suit pressure, the source is 100% O2, so it doesn't need to be 100kpa. If you can spare the Cu and Au, getting simple solar tracking will "fix" power issues early too, keep up the good work :)
hey so your cognition low warning was because you were turning your filters off which means you were building up CO2 in your suit because it was not filtering so a weird way to asphyxiate
Hey, Yeah it was but prior to taking lung damage, I was getting oxygen low warnings, not low cognition. That only seemed to happen when I took damage. I think this helped though because it allowed me to use even less oxygen.
I've actually had better luck by raising up the suit temp and maxing out the suit pressure - that way there's a lot more O2 and you don't have to turn the filter on and off so often. Overall O2 consumption seems about the same as it used to for lowering the pressure down to near nothing. The cognition is caused by lung damage and low O2. There's no O2 warnings with your lungs damaged, so you'll just have to watch the cognition and be right on top of turning your filters back on before you pass out, until you're able to take the pill and fix the lung damage. Pressure dips are a real pain on Venus, but try to stay as still as you can, and expect the pressure changes to blow you around. As others have said, pop yourself against a wall that you're not mining - that should help you not get blown around so much, and have an easier time mining. It's not perfect, but it should help.
Hey, It was something I noticed whilst playing on the asteroid belt. It seems that if you turn your suit filter off and then only turn it back on when your oxygen is getting low, you seem to use a lot less oxygen from your cannister. I don't know why this is but it did seem to last a lot longer. The problem I had was when I took lung damage. It allowed me to use even less oxygen but instead of getting a low oxygen warning, I now run the risk of passing out sooner.
@@PanicAndDieGaming I've read that the suit cycles O2 to aid in suit temp regulation, so leaving it on is why you cycle so much more O2 into your waste tank vs when filter is turned off.
Good luck and have fun, Ryan. To all a happy new year. The way I cope with the mining winds, I dig underground. Make a tunnel with a dubbledoor (block first day) and expand to make a large mining cave. A technical observation. Somehow, the recording isn't full screen. Have a little bit missing top and bottom. Looks like a ratio setting. Is this just me.?
Hey, this isn't just you. I made a mistake. When I recorded the trailer / teaser, as add output blanking to the video but I forgot to turn it off for Episode 1. I did notice and turn it off for Episode 2 onwards. Sorry about that.

Also try putting the flare into your jumpsuitshould reduce shadows, and you can paint flares to change the color of the light emitted

NOX mix for fuel is close to 1:1 as opposed to the Volatiles 2:1, so one cobalt and one silver should degas into a near ideal fuel mix.
You gotta take that pill. Pressure down to 40. And this planet has beaten me so many times im rooting 4 you
lol I do eventually take the pill but it doesn't help ;)

The trick, to not move, if ure mining. thats the only solution to the problem

Hey,
Thanks for the tips.
Why do you turn the filter on and off when you get the oxygen warning? I have not seen this before?

@PanicAndDieGaming
Don't be. It just proves you are still human.
The pollutant filter didn't do anything because you had your filter turned off?
Ah yeah perhaps. At the time, I thought the alert I had was for pollutants but to be honest, I think it was just flagging the lung damage.
