i advice to change the hue of the base color when shading (ex: If you have green hair you select the hair color then shift the hue to a more blue-ish green)

I mean you can also shift it to a yellow-green/lime but like it depends on what you’re going for

What about white?
Another tip when shading is the imagin where your light source is! For example: if your light is coming from the right, your shadows will be more on the left and you will have more highlights/brighter areas on the right!

@@Angelj3nnie984oh my oc has white hair! I think you should change the color to a very light purplish or bluish (your choice) and edit that way like in this video using a purplish or bluish color

A tip you can bucket the hair and then clip all the shading layers so the lines won't go out

How can you do that so perfectly- 😭😭
My hair detailing process is like the longest of everything maybe minus the sketching part if its a fully non gacha drawing but i tend to use three layers, one is flat, one is soft and the other is my just DETAILING the hair using highlights, ig i sorta get away with it in human sized characters but for gacha i skip the deatiling part and instead i make it less visable (lightly blurring all that hard work yooo) idk if it really looks good but shading hair is my most favourate and least favourate part of the process- lol
