Looks like the majority of commenters agree the house was over priced mostly driven by the cheap materials used to upgrade. According to the realtor the house is under contract which isn't surprising, however, he steers clear of addressing whether the already reduced asking price was met. Something tells me it was not.

Absolutely insane prices. It's no wonder why Pinellas natives afe getting priced out of their own county
It's not just Pinellas.
Before buying Florida waterfront property research flood insurance and if you can get it. If your wealthy enough to pay cash and self insure then no problem but if you're required to have flood insurance then this might be cost prohibitive.

Vinal floors cheezy lighting just a boat dock maybe high 7s or low 8s but definitely not over a million especially in this economy

Immediately, cheap floors not worth a mil much less 2 mil!
We'll see what it sells for. Being on the water and having St Pete Beach down the road, brings a premium.
