My buddy Chewyshoot has been working on a brand new alternate history mod for EU4, where Rome was defeated by Carthage and never established its empire! A LOT of Europe - and the Mediterranean at large - are completely different, with several new mission trees and familiar faces from eras past still struggling for dominance. It's a ton of fun, so make sure you check it out!

@@anuraagghosh9515 it's an alternate history mod so things are different, maybe where islam traveled since if it couldnt go toward the west

If you want to do an achievement run for eu4 I have an idea (though I don't know if you have done it before or not). There's an achievement for india called "the sun never sets on the Indian emperor" . You get it by being either Hindustan (India ruled by Muslims) or a certain other Indian end tag (I don't recall what it was called. Though it can be formed if you are a darmic religion or a form of Buddhism) while owning London and the capital of China (I don't recall if there was more that is needed for that achievement. though on the island in south India there are 2 nations with 1 more achievement, though the one that's the subject of the other has an additional achievement)

I have a quibble - wasn't the Third Punic War more a case of Rome finishing off a Carthage that had no real chance of victory? Maybe if the PoD was Carthage winning the _Second_ Punic War...

i really don't understand skiping over lore, yes it is reading and most people don't understand how to write it out still i just feel like that is a core exp to get warp up in the lore and gameplay? Maybe i have just played too many games that do that shrug. Not directed at any lets player i just notice anymore a lot of them do that
