I am drifting away from God. But i came across this video and somehow gave me little light.
💕I BELIEVE IN JESUS 💕
I am 17 and I have an addiction to pornography. I am also homeschooled for the bad things I did since 9th grade. And since then my pornography addiction opened more doors in sexual sin since I started in 7th grade. My sister started going to church and I went one time with just cuz I had nothing to do. Since then I have been going to church for about a year now and have been fairly recently baptized around January. Since the baptism I had wanted to get rid of everything that was bringing me down. Such as problems with my parents and until last month I confessed about my sexual sin but the doors that were open from when I started where not only things about women but also transsexuality or really homosexuality and masturbation. But the thing is I fight the homosexuality and I cause the huge cycle. Once I look at the transsexuality I go back to the "normal straight things" because of how disgusted I am with myself because I know I am not like that. Then after I just get disgusted by the whole thing. But I haven't confessed about that part yet. And I only recently found your channel and started watching your sexual sin playlist. And what I learned from them kinda related to what my youth pastor told me. He said it isolates and drives you apart from the path to get married. The devil tempts by saying leave God and it will be easier. But I fight but it's in my own strength but there are times I repeat Jesus name and say he gives me purity but j keep coming back. I just need more help and understanding from others. And whoever takes the time to read this thanks. And I am all ears. This was kinda hard publically posting this.
Update: I have already confessed a while back and it's been going great. He is still helping me learn to fight the temptation. Everytime I do the sin I pray and ask for forgiveness. By doing this everytime i realized that I asked for more of him which in turn does bring me closer. I am not saying it's good to do sin and expect him that. What I am saying is that when I give in I pray hard and with heart that when I do this it bring me closer. He brings shaking in your life to help you be aware of the sin. He does this so you can be brought closer to him. And the key to doing this is having faith and love towards him. You also need to thank him for his divine grace, read the Bible (whether it's a chapter or for an hour), pray even if it's something small for example "Thank you God for your grace", and finally talk to him like you would to a friend.
PS: I know homosexuality is bad. I wasn't like this before. I would lust over girls in school and such. But since I was isolated I succumbed to this. Gay christians are not real christians. I was mislead before I truly became a Christian. I am now disgusted by interest in trans and such and was always battling with myself about it before I became a Christian. I am now slowly but effectively getting rid of this addiction towards the normal stuff though. And no one can convince me that this stuff is right because I always knew it was wrong. Through my pastors help, praying, reading the bible, and talking to God I have broke through. Btw through out this I have always liked women just to clarify that I wasn't soley interested into trans. Its all a disguise that the devil trys to play towards people. Making them believe that since they can resembled women that its okay. Thank you for all your prayers.
I'm glad the channel has been helpful to you. There are many tips and little things that you can do along the way, but the only true way to be free from sin is to focus your entire life on Jesus Christ. Whenever you fall to sin, repent quickly and keep moving forward with Christ. It's also very important to live with a mission. You have to replace what you don't want to do with what you do want to do. I would encourage you to open up more to your youth pastor. That's what he is there for. I'm sure he wants to know and help you.

This was an encouragement to read, the bible (James 5 vs 16) says we should confess our sins to one another and pray for each other that we may be healed.
Repent whole heartedly before the Lord for your sin and acknowledge that is wrong. To confess means to make an admission of wrongdoing and involves at least three things-a wrongdoing, a heartfelt knowledge that what you have done is indeed wrong, and a person outside of yourself that you admit these things to (us here on youtube or youth pastor etc..).
The Lord loves you with an undying love and it is important to know that. All addictions in some way or another are a form of self harm which God doesn't wish upon you.
Since you have confessed this openly and have confessed to God I will pray for you. There are many people with testimonies of how God delivered them from addictions and what they went through, I do believe it is a process and after heartfelt repentance and asking God to give you the strength and grace to resist such things you must renew your mind daily by, spending time with God in his presence getting to know him and renewing your mind daily by reading his word and meditating on what his word is saying.
See we all still sin, but we need to be closer to God, we do that by reading his word and spending time in his presence. If you find you have a lack of desire to spend time with him ask for his grace to set him (God) as your first love in your heart and to give you the desire to know him more.
What you did today was really great and I believe God is smiling upon you. Spend time with him and his word (bible) and over time he will change you. That is a deep work rather than trying in your own power to stop the action trust God to deliver you, spend time with him and be renewed by his word. Never let the devil stop you from coming back to God because of shame we all daily need to repent but God will do it. Always keep coming back to God. God bless you I will pray for you. Thank you for this explanation. I have been completely mired in sin for the past year at least. Completely turned away from god, became enraged and depressed at the world and started relying on weed completely. Lost the love of my life because of my infidelity.
I have been completely reborn by mending my relationship with god and myself. Im sober and I’m thankful every day for the blessings I’ve been given to help me escape from the way I was living. It’s so important to constantly be mindful of the devils attacks because even now I am attacked just like I was when I fell. Stay sober and vigilant and have faith.

I detest my sins and always repent and steer away from those things that will cause me to stumble amd and fall. Since my husband left im always our shopping thinking that material things are going up replace that emptiness left inside of me . The truth is that only Jesus can fill that void.

Last week I went to this summer conference where God showed himself to me in like a thousand ways! Every single service he revealed sth beautiful to me.
2 days after I came back I was suddenly wondering 'what if God doesn't exist?' & I was so shocked by my own thoughts.. Deep down I KNOW He does exist but I just didn't understand where my mind was going. I wondered if the devil was attacking me bc he saw how close I drew to God past week. I am now convinced of it and I will fight against that.
Anytime you have a bad or evil thought just have another thought. I know it sounds almost ridiculous but whenever I have an evil thought I just think of something amazing like mountains, lakes, babies, puppies, flowers etc. I rebuke that evil thought in Jesus and name and ask for forgiveness. Sometimes it's just our old nature that brings these thoughts to mind but we have to renew our minds to Jesus. It takes time but it does work! 1. Satan may be attacking you if you are falling to sin because of fear [1:06];
2. If you are getting hit with all kinds of doubts about God, this could be an attack of the enemy [2:37]; and
3. If you are being tempted to gratify the desires of your flesh, spiritual warfare is probably involved as well [3:53].
Satan never stops attacking you till your dead but GOD NEVER STOPS LOVING YOU EVEN AFTER YOUR DEAD. JESUS LOVES YOU
Mark what I particularly appreciated with this is where you spoke of the different "types" of dying, and the fear of those. So fear of dying "socialy", fear of dying financially, etc. That particularly "spoke" to me and I could relate to it more than just "general" fear of death. That puts it in a while other light- in addition to actual death.

Going back to them over and over (thinking that was required) made me REALLY SICK! I had NO CHOICE but to leave! But I am just really confused in my walk right now and I feel like I have lost my salvation as well. I feel like I don’t belong to Christ anymore.

Satan and those of Satan are always trying to bring some sort of condemnation against us believers in Christ. Often the condemnation is false, just a bunch of lies. But you can always tell who's in God and who's not in God because those of Satan are always seeking to bring some sort of condemnation against you whereas God only brings correction if you are truly in sin. God doesn't shame you and try to make you feel bad. He's about love, mercy and forgiveness. Not hatred.

It's a psychological warfare. We must seek knowledge. By reading the bible. Throughout the day think about the word. Must always keep your mind focused. Dwelling upon anything else would be consider sinful. Have patience too.
When Satan attacks you and not his demons it's going to scare the holy life out of you! Trust me been there living that! I'm not a Satan worshiper but I am someone that has been under attack since I was a child and if you do not believe that he will scare the life out of you try to stand tall with him even in your strongest faith. I suspect that all negative, destructive thoughts, feelings and desires come from below and are spiritual attacks. We can resist and reject them in the name above every name, Jesus. However, we must learn to stand on the promises in God’s Word and not be moved. Persist and never, never, never give up. It is not an easy battle but we can win, we have Jesus’s Spirit, His name and His Word, God is for us, not against us.

The only thing I know about these types of videos is that the ones making it go into all sorts of silly examples instead of just being direct about the information. It seems folks making the videos want to express their pride in knowing the information to those who they are trying to share it with. And that makes getting the information tough to get.
