I see they added another clip and a ring up near the head of the unit where the motor and gears are. If you get a flashing red light and none of the trouble shooting helps I can tell you I've had it twice now, first time under warranty and it was repaired free by Hilti, this second time I fixed it myself. Anyway if this happens out of warranty, remove the two halves, just pull off the same side that you take the screws out of, ( you will have to push the eject tab sightly to line it back up with the thumb tab when reassembling but it's easy), when you have the one side off you will see a rod going from the spring loaded plunger that ejects the nail up to a plastic bar that has a small cylindrical magnet that is what actuates a switch on the small circuit board under it. Look for any small piece of metal (likely from a nail fragment that managed to get in there) and simply remove it. It interferes with the switch making the tool think it isn't ready to fire. Hopefully Hilti will incorporate some type of shroud to protect this little bitty magnet from this. I'm guessing that it may be a common occurrence as it's happened to mine twice now with just short of 2,000 nails driven. Hope you never need this but if so I hope it's helpful.
I am still very fond of the bx3 maybe even moreso now that I'm confident in trouble shooting it :)
Btw, I bought mine because I could take it as checked baggage to do a project in Puerto Rico. Can't take the butane or powder actuated tools and there is no Hilti store on the island.

Why did you not rather shoot some nails in concrete and different steel thickness so to prove what the machine can do. Waste of time on this video.

    How do I unjam it?

I'm not sure. I haven't used it enough for it to jam. It is kind of useless for me, because it doesn't shoot pins long enough. You can unjam by throwing it in away. LOL.
