Thanks! It is actually not a skin, saw it on the tradepost with resi/refreshing/ele aversion, never bought something that fast before. It was a perfect match with the Death's Beckoning chest skin from a twitch drop a while ago. Only downside for this build was that it had 25 con, but it was a sacrifice I was willing to make for the assassin aesthetics 😂
I do not recommend any of my builds with a high difficulty slider (0:08) for beginners. It only takes one mistake to lose a fight with such a squishy build, but it is a high risk, high reward build once you master it.
Im new to the game and really struggling. I love using both these weapons with that being said is there any verible in this to where I can stay alive long enough to at least learn from my mistakes? At about 600 gear rating now but I feel more con I cant kill anyone less con I'm insta dead. Any input from anyone would be appreciated. I want to keep playing and actually get good at the game just at my wits end with it tbh. pvp is NOT fun lol. Oh I have full shirking gear and a few pieces of the crit. I cant cant tell if it helped. OR go make a bruiser and just run in smashing keys? lol no offence bruisers damn unkillables.
@@TheSheepDipped This build requires knowledge of how to fight against every other weapon in the game, because as you said, one mistake = insta dead, but you are rewarded by dealing extreme damage yourself. I do have another version of this build on my channel, take a look at the "hatemail edition" video, it features a version with 150con. It would be much easier to start with that build if you like this weapon combo 🙂
There was some good stuff in the expansion, but it wasn't enough to get me excited. What I'm really hoping for is a new pvp game mode or something to make opr and 3v3s less repetitive
@@DerrekU2ber The changes they made to gear are amazing for buildcrafting. I will have to check it out eventually, but there have just been so many new games to play lately
@@DerrekU2ber Mostly Baldurs gate 3 actually. I had a break from gaming before it released and now I'm excited for the upcoming Avatar game. Maybe it's back to NW afterwards. How about you? Played anything besides New World?
The tondo skill applies a bleed damage over time, that can be stacked up to 3 times, and the finish and flourish skill will take those bleeds and remove them, but apply all of the damage they would have done instantly
Hello how are you? I really like your channel. I'm watching all the videos, I would like to ask, would you be able to assemble a "monk" build? he knows? represents a martial artist? with one of the handles? great content. I apologize for the typos, I'm Brazilian, and using a translator, it can be with a spear, or sword, shield or void, I literally wanted a monk, with heavy armor, you know? the problem my mind sees is mobility, could you build a build that covers that weakness?
Absolutely nutty build and gameplay. All of the thrust ward makes sense given the amount of ranged players in OPR and being a glass cannon would be torture without it. In the build breakdown at the end you have the gem on the sword listed as Opal, but it seems you're using a sapphire to get more damage out of the Int for the DoT bonus like other bleed builds
Thanks! A mistake on my end, it should have been Opal or any 50% elemental split gem as it is personal preference. Raw damage is higher with opal, but many people stack physical armor. If one likes to see single, big numbers, I would go with opal, but if people stack thrust protection on their server, I would go with an elemental split gem.
was actually planning to look into somethign similar, but why not increase damage on flourish nd finish perk? omni is good with 20%, but if you can run fleche, it'll be better for running. But hat would be for scenarios like wars i think. OPR is definitely easier to escape from so i can see omni 20% over the flourish damage at less then 50%.... i like this, interesting build. Does keenly jagged count as a bleed stack for flourish and finish?
In case others see this too, here's an elaboration as to why I don't run the flourish perk, and why I think these abilities are the best. Cancelling tondo with evade before finish allows you to get a 100% refresh on your bleeds to get the absolute maximum bleed damage from the explosion. You can also do evade before tondo for bigger dots, which is going to create an even bigger explosion. I don't use the flourish armor perk because it sounds way better than it is. It does not increase your bleed damage; it only increases the two direct slash damage hits that flourish and finish does, and if you use flourish and finish on a target below 50% hp they are dead anyways. Keenly jagged does not count as a bleed towards flourish n finish, only tondo does. The reason I run additional dots is because regular pvpers will try to cleanse the dots, usually healers. Running additional dots will mess up shirking cleanse and purifying cleanse, it'll make it much easier for you to stack tondo. This build does have leap from s&s, so it has a big gap closer/escape ability, but for most fights where it becomes a fight or flight, I choose to try to take someone with me instead of trying to run. Something as simple as spamming basic attacks while spamming evade around them will actually melt someone down pretty fast, and you automatically dodge lots of damage through spamming evade
I did leave a comment below but I wanted to compliment on the gameplay. You...are...disgusting man... So is LionAD I see his comment below. You have honesty inspired me to keep playing, glad I found this video. Well done man, thanks for the share.
This build is not intended for pve, it would work for open world and questing, but it wouldn't perform well in dungeons. If you want to play it, you should check out my "Hatemail edition" video, it features a version of this build with 150con that is easier to get into
I agree, I've always ran to the northern outposts in restless shore when I was going to level up a weapon, mindlessly pulling huge groups of mobs for hours. Just being able to level them in pvp would be great
wait, can you not? I distinctly remember in beta that I would get weapon skill from killing someone in pvp but that there were diminishing returns on it as well so you couldnt farm people over and over. Is that not a thing anymore?
@@shaylinjames2729 I haven't levelled weapons in a long time(gs I did fast in pve) but if I remember correctly, you can in open world, but you can't farm one player, so it is a very slow way of leveling them, you also do not get weapon xp in Outpost rush, where the majority of pvp happens
@@AmbrielNW ah okay, I had played the beta and then didnt touch the game until the new fresh start servers just launched, so that's interesting to know. Thanks! :)
Thanks! You can't. I copy pasted the text all over, forgot to remove the "punishing" part on the jewel gems. Thanks for pointing it out, I'll see if I can correct it in the yt editor 👍
If the enemy is stunned, the Tondo -> Evade -> Flourish combo is guarantee do hit? Or the enemy can spam the dodge button and roll after the tondo hit? sorry for my bad english
There is a small gap between the tondo damage and flourish stagger where the enemy can dodge, but the faster you can do the combo, the smaller that gap becomes. If he is spamming dodge, he needs to dodge within that window. I bound 2 of my ability keys to my mouse side buttons specifically to be able to do combos like these faster than someone can click a key on the keyboard
It seems like you dont use the perk Adagio in Evade which gives you the extra dmg but you were still talking about it as if you're using it dealing the extra dmg also with omnidirectional evade which only works on the perk itself.
The mastery perk adagio only grants a 15% damage buff for your next light attack after using evade but getting close enough to do a light attack is super risky and not advised, so you wouldn't get much out of it, therefore I didn't pick that perk. You don't need adagio to get the 18% damage buff for 2s from omni directional evade, which can be tested pretty quick in game by going to a training dummy 🙂
Would Attunement work on the Sword as well? I''ve been rolling some Shields for this and ended up getting Keen as my Third Perk and was wondering if it'd be fine. Prob a silly question, I see attunement on nearly everything. Sorry I should add that I'd be dropping Diminishing Shield Bash for Keen.
Attunement works very well. It is slightly lower dps when going for a sword burst but can actually be better if the enemy has stacked physical resist. I use diminishing shield bash often to setup a flourish & finish into someone back, and by doing so, shirking fort and other damage reducing buffs often gets cleansed from the enemy, so they take a lot more damage. It's also great vs hatchet players, as I do a finish to pop them down to 1 hp, but when they activate defy death, they will either kill me in 2 hits, or I disengage, and they pop berserk and run away. By smacking them with diminishing shield bash as soon as they activate defy death, I can charge a heavy sword attack and kill them while they are stunned for a guaranteed kill. Defy death in numbers: It lasts for 3s, 0.5s goes to the shield bash animation, 1s goes to charging the heavy, and roughly 1.5s is removed by diminishing shield bash
@@AmbrielNW Diminishing Shield Bash sounds too good to pass up then. I also noticed in some of the clips it looked like your sword was doing some Elemental damage, do you prefer opal over an ele gem?
@@wileycorgi4138 Diminishing shield bash is one of those quality-of-life perks that is really, really nice to have, but not necessary for the build to work. Yeah, I was swapping between a 50% ele split gem and opal, and it was a 50/50 really, the ele split was pretty good against bruisers with slash resist, but those targets can cc lock this build to death, or even 1 shot it, so it's not a good idea to get close. Many people stack emerald gems in their armor in opr (mostly bow&musket players, which are perfect targets to assassinate) So I prefer opal because I would deal slightly more slash damage to them while I spam lmb to apply slows while they try their best to create distance
Thanks! The chest is the Deaths beckoning skin from a twitch drop 2 months ago, and the hood is just what the item looks like in game (not a skin) The in-game icon looks like this imgur.com/a/4dFxg7N
I like to think every kind of weapon combo is viable, before I have tested and proved otherwise. But I've seen both bow and musket players running around with s&s and doing well with it
@@IndyMotoRider Nicely observed! For most of these clips I was 31 con because the hood I was wearing had +26 con, but I wore it for the assassin aesthetics for the video as it's not a skin😅 I also had Health on a 625 amulet along with hale & hearty. I experiment a lot when creating new builds, so I was also 150con in some of those clips, but ultimately, I found 5 con to be the best for max one shot potential, but again, I used that 26 con hood for the aesthetics as I couldn't afford another cool looking hood with resi/refreshing/ele aversion just for this vid
@@bernardosilva7789 Obviously 😂If you finished reading my comment, you'd see this: "I experiment a lot when creating new builds, so I was also 150con in some of those clips"
Keep in mind this build takes a lot of skill and is extremely squishy at 5 con (and also difficult to gear for that). I would say try different playstyles first and don't be afraid to switch around once you have decent gear for this.
As oscar said, this is a very difficult build to play. I admit this video makes it look way easier than it actually is, as it is a very high risk, high reward build. 1:45 That is how fast your health drop from one mistake, so I would advise playing a build with higher con and that allows more mistakes to be made. But if you enjoy steep learning curves, getting the red and yellow perks shown at 3:10 are very important, as the fewer of the perks you have, the harder it is to play
What are your thoughts on Medium Armor on this build? I'm using what you've got listed but instead of 5 con I'm running 100 and I plan on lowering it as I get better. The stagger from Light Armor though just feels so killer, especially since with this build my only disengage is Leap. The mobility from Light though is so hard to pass up, and I feel like with Medium I'd have a much harder time chasing Bows/Musket.
You need at least 150-200 con to make use of medium, and that means you need 3 stacks of tondo against everyone to one shot them. And the problem with that is the enemy will run when he sees 2+ stacks, and you can't catch him. It's also really hard to get into the right position for flourish & finish in medium, So I don't think it would work very well
No worries, I am still on Nysa, just haven't played much lately. I began working on a website for my builds and it kinda devoured all of my spare time, haha. I'll start appearing more frequently in game once I finish the website 😅
The stagger on FnF is like.. the most important part of this build. I honestly have no clue why they would even nerf blood rapier so hard, when all it takes to completely render a blood rapier enemy useless on live is to press block. I also used reverse stab specifically for the stagger, as the stagger lasted long enough to do a quick swap > tondo that they couldn't block due to being staggered. And now that flourish doesn't stagger, every player you fight is going to easily dodge finish, so it is going to be super hard to pop the tondo stacks. I haven't tried this build on the ptr, but from reading the patch notes, it doesn't sound good 😢
insane. What a great video! One day I will be good at pvp haha. Also thank you for putting the written part in the description. As a new player, this helps tremendously
Thanks. Deadly flourish is a wasted perk on a proper bleed rapier build. It only boosts the direct damage from the two direct hits, not the bleed damage, and it only boosts damage on targets below 50% hp, which will die anyways if you go for a finish while they are that low. Omnidirectional evade boosts damage by 18% for 2s, so you can use it to stack stronger bleeds for an even bigger finish, and use it before doing flourish and finish to have both direct hits boosted by 18% 👍
@@AmbrielNW That actually makes sense yeah. thanks for the explanation in numbers, im still trying to get those down for New World`..especially too wi`th the new gems i suppose :) I do love your build but would you be interested in making a build for rapier with greatsword? Thanks again Ambriel. cheers
Thanks! The damage from the bleed "bomb" from F&F can only be increased by increasing the damage from tondo itself when you apply it to the enemy, so having the 18% damage for 2s after evade perk is awesome as you can do evade > tondo if you need a bigger bomb. I can't remember on the top of my head if both flourish and finish have grit, but if they do, only those 2 direct hits would get buffed by thwarting strikes, no other damage over the course of the entire fight. So having keenly jagged and attunement as the last 2 perks is great because they create this mini "bomb" of various damage whenever you apply tondo
@@AmbrielNW Ty for the detailed reply! I noticed sometimes your health pool varies in some of the clips. What is your preferred amount of con? Been trying the 250 int 250 Dex, and this build def requires 0 mistakes to pull off, so i'm getting practice with it. Props to you for pulling it off, shows your skills at the game for sure.
@@MegaSickunt No problem! I don't wait until I have finished the build before I begin recording, so most of these clips are gathered while I was making the build, but the version I showcase at the end are always the one I've found to be most efficient. These kinds of builds are hard to play, but they also have much higher outplay potential. The build gets easier to play once the various combos becomes muscle memory, and you've gotten used to how you should approach the different builds others are running. I wore a +26con hat for this video because I couldn't afford another resi/refreshing/ele aversion one without con and being 31con I committed 19 points to reach 50 just to get a round number, but for this build, it is no point to go 50 con, because one mistake = death anyways, so it is better to go 5 con for more damage. (Roughly 17% more damage on a stunned/slowed target) I also did some testing at 150 con, but with the damage loss, I often needed 3x stacks to kill someone, instead of only 1-2 stacks like the final version 👍
No problem! The hale&hearty town buff combined with a 625gs amulet with health on it boosts max health a lot, and the majority of these clips were recorded with 50 con, due to my hat (it had+26con), but 50 con serves no purpose for a build like this, it is better to go 5 con if possible. It works in 3v3 arena, but I do not recommend it there, as it is extremely hard to pull off. (2 arrows, or 2 melee abilities and you're dead)
Only tondo counts towards flourish and finish, no other bleed in the game. I run jagged as well as a 3s ele dot gem on the rapier to make it harder for people to cleanse tondo 🙂And if they don't have any cleansing in their build, the dots will eat them while I jump around stacking tondo
im def trying this build. this is exactly my playstyle! so sick man. im still level 50 trying to swap to this and damage seems really low right now obviously since im not 60 with all the gear talents. would you suggest me putting all my points into dex or intel for now? and prioritise intel or dex gear. Im also new to this game so trying to read the gear at the end is confusing to me. Sick video, i hope i see more of this and hope to master it as well!
Be warned that this is not a beginner friendly build, it is very hard to play, but it's high risk, high reward, and the less of the perks you have, the harder it is to play it. The red perks at 3:15 are the absolute bare minimum needed to even play this build in pvp, you also need the yellow perks if you want to do well with it. So, I would advise waiting until you have the gear for this, but if you really want to jump straight into it, a start would be 250int, and then dump the rest into dex, and getting the Blood Letting perk on a ring, it will extend the tondo bleed by 30%, making finish&flourish hit much harder when you pop the bleeds. The perks on the end are simply in order of priority of each item, with the suggested gem at the bottom. Such as the helmet, 1st perk is Resilient, then 2nd perk is Refreshing, then 3rd perk is Elemental Aversion, with a Thrust ward gem in the socket, or a Punishing thrust ward gem when you have access to it (endgame)
@@AmbrielNW Thank you very much thats the info i needed! I never go for easy builds. i always tend to gravitate towards glass cannon/outplay style builds/classes in every game. ill def use this information. Hello Ambriel, your videos are really cool, gg! I would like play build like that kinda but i'm beginner, so do you think your "hatemail" build is still viable and better for me? Thanks! PS: is it cool for pvp and pve or it's pvp only? 👍 (PS2 : what do you think about Rapier / ice gauntlet?)
Thanks! Yeah, the build shown in the hatemail video might be better in that case, because 5 con is very hard to play. The builds on this channel are intended for pvp, but I use them everywhere except war and dungeons. Rapier and ice gauntlet works 👍
@@AmbrielNW you rock, thank you for ur reply, thats cool! i need to practice rapier, the combos aren't easy, it's almost like a dance haha, anyway, Keep it up!
Why dont you first Evade then Tondo? Bleed damage is set at the moment you apply. So if you empower with omni on weapon and then apply bleed it will tick for 15% more dmg over the whole duration. Even if you lose empower the bleed stays high. So finish would deal also 15% more dmg right? I tested bleed tick on dummies but cant test finish dmg
You are correct, and I do this against any tankier build, or healers to stack 3x empowered tondos, before I do the tondo>evade>finish combo. But against light armor players, I choose to go for evade to cancel tondo instead, as I want a higher paced fight because the damage is so high anyways 👍
Nice gameplay. Btw what is your graphics settings? Looks so good and clean and visibility :D Oh and do you have any good Bruiser build? :) (Greatsword+s&s?)
Thanks! I have every setting on low, actually 😆To reach stable 144 fps. A light armor 5 con gs/ga and a medium gs/s&s bruiser build are coming up next! 😉
This one. If you manage to unlock the 250dex perk with the 250int perk the damage gets so high that you rarely need more than 2 tondo stacks to one shot anyone in light armor
You are an awesome player... you got me sub brother !!!... I never thought you could be that fast to execute those 3 rapier skills in such a small window. I Guess I need to practicec more on that. BTW, i'm doing Musket / Rapier with bleed build on Rapier... i'm just having a hard time getting the rapier with the one you use
Thanks! A omnidirectional evade + keenly jagged rapier does the job just fine. Keenly jagged is just to make it harder to cleanse tondo. Go to a training dummy and just repeat the combos for a while, you'll get faster and faster. And whenever you log in, spend about 10 min practising the combos on the dummies before you venture into pvp. Training dummies are underrated 😆
Hey man just wanna ask if this works on medium armor? I really don't like playing with Light cause I play from Asia and the lowest ping is 150. Dodge rolling and doing Fleche is enough to rubberband me like crazy. Would be sweet if you have a version of this wearing a medium armor!
I'd recommend going SnS/Spear with medium armor, you can reliably utilize the spear skills with higher ping as they are more forgiving on timing and spacing.
I wouldn't recommend this build if you have high ping, a brawler build would probably be better in that case 🙂 I don't think it would work well in medium, as speed, high damage and mobility are everything to this build. So, without testing, but in theory medium would likely result in one of these scenarios: 1. You play 260dex, 250int in medium, and everyone will kill you in 2-3 hits, because you will not be able to create distance with dodge rolls. 2. You play something like 150con in medium, but you will be lacking damage, so you need to apply more than 1 stack, but people will disengage or cleanse them when they see you're stacking, and without dodge rolls, you will not be able to catch up to pop the bleeds with flourish&finish when they run
@@AmbrielNW can you suggest a good build for aggressive pvp for players with high ping? i started playing the game this week but im almost giving up because my class is really bad for pvp with the ping i have.
@@igorrafael7429 I have a warhammer/sword&shield build that has tons of stuns, decent damage and tons of healing and it is in light armor so that people can't run away. I think it would work as an aggressive build even if you have high ping because you'd stun people, and combo them while they're stunned. And if you have a lag spike so that you take damage, you can simply heal up. Take a look, might be what you are looking for th-cam.com/video/EJust3IQsSg/w-d-xo.html If you do decide to try it, the most important perks are trenchant heals on the warhammer (If you can get leeching path of destiny as well, it would be very good) and resilient+refreshing on all armor pieces. I do not have any medium/heavy armor builds on my channel yet, but I have plans for it eventually. I did originally make that wh/s&s build heavy armor, and it felt very strong, but I couldn't keep up with fast bow players, they always ran away, so I chose light armor. You could try it in heavy with a tower shield, it would be very easy to stay alive, but you won't be able to catch fast people, and the damage might be a little low
@@AmbrielNW Ohh true lol forgot about the sheild, also are you making him bleed 2x from 1 slash? or am i seeing stuff? because i swear u make them bleed with the stack 2x then 1 hit, but i dont do no where near as much damage with 2x and then using it?, or r u getting 3 stacks? honestly idk?
@@ryanpink964 @ryanpink964 I never go for 3 stacks unless I'm fighting a tank or a healer. on players I know are less than 150con, I go straight for a tondo > evade > finish combo, to apply one stack and blow up that one stack just like that. For reference, this is roughly the damage window of that combo: Tondo (500-2k) > evade > Flourish (1k-3k) > finish (1k-3k) > bleed explode (2-4k) for a total damage window of 4500 - 12k with one stack on a light armor player below 150con. It'll be a little lower on tankier players, but it will still do a full one-shot on 150con light players if I get 2 stacks. Also, that damage does not take into account all of the dots and procs, so the damage is even higher in total. The biggest contributors of the damage is the 250 int perk, bleed letting on ring, omni evade on rapier and invigorated punishment on the ring. And of course, dumping as many points into dex as possible
I put all of the combos in the description. To do the weapon swap combo: Hold block for the entire combo: Tondo > evade to cancel the rest of the tondo animation > because you are holding block, half of the evade animation gets cancelled early > swap weapon > any sword ability
That is true but relying on only flourish&finish is why so many bleed builds fail. The idea is to make tondo a lot more useful than just one little bleed. Every time tondo is used, it procs attunement, keenly jagged, tondo's direct damage, 1st tondo bleed tick and the 3s nature dot from the weapon gem, creating a little explosion of procs. With so many dots from one single ability, it makes it very hard for the enemy to cleanse tondo. While I keep on running around stacking, all of those dots are eating away at their health as well, so I usually don't need more than 1-2 stacks to kill people. Having keenly emp would result in tondo proccing it, then it might wear off before I use the next tondo, and it'll be on cooldown when I then do flourish&finish
@@flowless1773 A big use for sword outside of the oneshot clips in the video is for pure dps, such as bursting down a healer that is running too much cleanse and is good at avoiding tondo. And for that I do Heavy attack into leaping strike, so that I have 31% increased sword damage from empowering leaping strike, and 30% empower from the heavy attack, and then I spam light attacks until they are dead or the slow from leaping strike wears off. Attunement is not per hit, it has a 1s cd, whereas vicious will push my dps to the limit. So, I would go emp leaping strike > vicious > attunement on the sword in that case
@@flowless1773 To utilize both freedom and shirking fortification, you would have to take damage, and you are too squishy to really get much benefit from it, because you will die in 2-3 hits anyways, even with full shirking fort, so it is better to never trade hits, keep your distance to melee players, and instead reduce the damage you cannot control, that being muskets. If you would like to run the same build with either freedom or shirking fort as the last perk, I would go 150con, 50str, 50 int and the rest into dex. (That would be easier to play, although lower damage)
It does, you can see the empower buff on the bar when evade is used. You only get the 18% empower from the perk you don't get the empower from the rapier tree
It does indeed work! I did not pick that perk itself in the weapon mastery as engaging in close distance melee is usually a death sentence if you make one mistake. You want to try to stay in medium range and run around in circles while you apply tondo stacks, so the perk is used primarily for the tondo > evade > flourish&finish combo, so that the direct damage from both flourish and finish is buffed by 18%. This is why I can one shot some builds by just that combo alone. It is also great vs tankier builds, or healers as you can do evade > tondo for a more powerful bleed that will pop even harder once you go for the finish
Absolutely gorgeous I would hate you ahahah how do you fair against med and heavy I'd imagine just a little more dancing around while they bleed to death
Most people do hate me when I play this build 😂You are right, it is just a little more running around. On the super tanky people I even do evade > tondo to make the dots stronger, and then I stack 3x tondo before I pop those empowered dots. I've seen each bleed do as much as 4k+ damage on light armor healers when I do this 😆
ok i've build this, i have to admit that this is probably the hardest build to learn. But that flourish dmg... jesus... this crap hit so hard... everytime i manage to live long enough to be able to use it im suprised why my opponent is dead xD
My swap buttons are going to catch fire 🔥🔥 Haven't tested it myself on the ptr, but I've heard from friends, and if it is as good as they said, this bleed build is going to get a nasty buff 😆
Have they changed it? 😮Elemental aversion used to reduce all elemental damage, including muskets with elemental split gems. I've just assumed it's still working and always ran ele aversion. What kind of testing have you done?
Well, it's an assassin build, whose role is to sneak up on targets behind enemy lines(healers/ranged, anything light with 150con or less) and kill them one by one as fast as possible. It's not meant for 1vX. Imagine a small-scale fight, 10v10, enemy team have 5 healers and 5 bruisers, your team have 5 healers, 4 bruisers and this build. This build would make a massive contribution to winning the battle because no healer can out heal a clean one-shot. Hope that changed your perspective towards the build 🙂
I do neutrals. Like staggering with flourish when players are frame locked to an animation before I do finish. People that try to dodge tondo are the easiest ones to fight anyways, as it makes it really easy to finish when they are checked. That being the state after they have spent 2 dodges, where they can use the last dodge and get exhausted, or they can take the finish damage. Either way being in that state will usually result in them dying. it's the ones good at parrying tondo that is difficult. I'm going to leave a short analysis of the first few fights: 0:13 the stagger lasts long enough to perform finish, so shield bash is a death sentence as you get stunlocked until finish explodes. 0:16 was a one shot from behind, poor guy didn't even see me coming. 0:20 I pressured him with s&s to put him into the checked state, and he chose to spend the last dodge to dodge flourish, but now that he's out of stamina, he has no way to avoid finish. And if he had not dodged flourish, he would get staggered until finish connected, so he was dead anyway due to the checked state. 0:25 I predicted the double roll, and reverse stabbed during the neutral state. Hope this gave some insight to how I make the fights look so easy 😅
You make the same mistake again and again with the rapier. I mean you mess up the combo almost every time and you deal a lot less dmg than you could. (And you even put that mistake in the description..) Overall, you waste the rapier.. You could do so much more with a proper build. I mean, sure killing 1-1 guy by sneaking behind them.. It works, any other weapon works that way. But you could finish a lot more, take a lot more.. But it's just a highlight video.. (Keenly jagged is a waste. Keenly jagged does provide towards your abilities. Attunement is also a waste. There is no need to explain how it works or what it does.) + for your build, blood letting is also a waste. You don't use it. You need blood letting to be able to apply tondo 3 times, so you can finish off people that are not glass cannon musket players..
Blood rapier players that rely only on finish doesn't perform well, when all it takes to mess up such a build is one block, purify or shirking cleanse. You'll never get 3x stacks on a half decent player, 2 if you're lucky, so adding more debuffs will mess up shirking cleanse and purify(such as jagged). The procs and dots also work together to create a little mini explosion every time tondo is applied. There is not a single 5 con musket in the vid, most are 150con if you count the damage. I even included several fights vs melees. But what do I know, I am obviously bad at pvp. Thanks for giving us proper advise. What mistake do you think I do every fight, and how do you think the combos are supposed to be performed? Just curious 🤔
😂😂😂 your a joke! Stop cheating. Tondo and flourish can not be hit that fast. This build had been tested by many people and it’s not popular because of the time it take to follow up with flourish.

Best build / pvp montage i've seen in a long time. Great music choice too :)
You post the most creative builds I come across!
@@AmbrielNW Which gem is Opal/Elemental split? Or are you saying one weapon with opal and the other with an elemental?
@@heartless_gamer For the sword, either an opal gem or any 50% elemental split gem
was actually planning to look into somethign similar, but why not increase damage on flourish nd finish perk? omni is good with 20%, but if you can run fleche, it'll be better for running.
@@AmbrielNW appreciate the reply. I plan to try with evade and with fleche for fun. Good build!

Which one of your builds, do you currently enjoy playing most in pvp and pve?
From the ones I have posted, the Paladin one
Hey Ambriel! Is there a way to play this build in PvE/Dungeons? I love that build - currently sitting at lvl 51 an wanted to play this.
This build is not intended for pve, it would work for open world and questing, but it wouldn't perform well in dungeons. If you want to play it, you should check out my "Hatemail edition" video, it features a version of this build with 150con that is easier to get into
I wish you could level up weapons in PvP. that would make the game 3x better
Thanks! :)
Nice build! just a question about the jewels. How do you put runeglass on it?
Thanks!
@@AmbrielNW Ah i see yes you're right, i've misread the perk thanks for the reply :)
Many people stack emerald gems in their armor in opr (mostly bow&musket players, which are perfect targets to assassinate) So I prefer opal because I would deal slightly more slash damage to them while I spam lmb to apply slows while they try their best to create distance
i love the look can you tell me whats the hood and chest?

Nasty build! 5 con all melee is pretty insane. Great video!
Some clips she's got 8500 health others over 11K. Neither of which is 5 con. Maybe 100 on the low side and 150 on the high side.

I´m trying out a bleed rapier build but with ice gauntlet. But I could not try out this one because of mechanics diff xD
Trailer name: "The school bully in the playground"
I tried out this build with 250 dex 250 int 0 con its really hard. I think i would reccommend 200 dex 250 int and 50 con
5o con gives you nothing so you might as well go for 5 con and more damage because if you get caught you are dead anyway whether 5 or 50 con
What would you recommend to a fresh 60, how to assemble this build?
It's also really hard to get into the right position for flourish & finish in medium, So I don't think it would work very well
@@AmbrielNW I didn't even consider the positioning for Flourish, I just need to get better at dealing with the GS lol. Thanks for the feedback!
@@wileycorgi4138 GS is over tuned though, any build is struggling against it, unless they are running a GS themselves

@@AmbrielNW oh nice to know, some of us would apreciate those builds.
Hello! Can you tell me if this build will be playable after the patch?😢
I'm glad it helped!
Thats a fun looking build :) nice one. Question though, wouldnt you want to have Deadly Flourish on the rapier instead of omnidirectional evade?
Can you do a FS/RAPIER BLEEDING? PLEASE PLEASE!! LOVE YOUR VIDSSS
Nice video! Motivated me to try this build out. Would a rapier with Thwarting Strikes increase all of the damage from F&F?
(Roughly 17% more damage on a stunned/slowed target) I also did some testing at 150 con, but with the damage loss, I often needed 3x stacks to kill someone, instead of only 1-2 stacks like the final version 👍
damn bro ur combo soooo badass it still work now ?
Yep! Just tondo > evade > flourish and it'll be smooth as butter 😃
Hi. tell me why you have 8,854k HP. if you have 5 Constitution. Also, how does the class feel in the 3v3 arena? sorry for bad english!
@@AmbrielNW thanks a lot for answering
keenly jagged does not work on flourish and finish right?
Only tondo counts towards flourish and finish, no other bleed in the game. I run jagged as well as a 3s ele dot gem on the rapier to make it harder for people to cleanse tondo 🙂And if they don't have any cleansing in their build, the dots will eat them while I jump around stacking tondo
@@AmbrielNW Good point, thanks for the reply!
im def trying this build. this is exactly my playstyle! so sick man. im still level 50 trying to swap to this and damage seems really low right now obviously since im not 60 with all the gear talents.
would you suggest me putting all my points into dex or intel for now? and prioritise intel or dex gear.

You are correct, and I do this against any tankier build, or healers to stack 3x empowered tondos, before I do the tondo>evade>finish combo. But against light armor players, I choose to go for evade to cancel tondo instead, as I want a higher paced fight because the damage is so high anyways 👍

I'd recommend going SnS/Spear with medium armor, you can reliably utilize the spear skills with higher ping as they are more forgiving on timing and spacing.
I wouldn't recommend this build if you have high ping, a brawler build would probably be better in that case 🙂
I don't think it would work well in medium, as speed, high damage and mobility are everything to this build. So, without testing, but in theory medium would likely result in one of these scenarios:
You could try it in heavy with a tower shield, it would be very easy to stay alive, but you won't be able to catch fast people, and the damage might be a little low
how come no medium chestplate? all light?
Anything other than full light when wielding a shield will put you into the medium armor category 👍
For reference, this is roughly the damage window of that combo:
Tondo (500-2k) > evade > Flourish (1k-3k) > finish (1k-3k) > bleed explode (2-4k) for a total damage window of 4500 - 12k with one stack on a light armor player below 150con.
And of course, dumping as many points into dex as possible
how you change weapon that fast
I put all of the combos in the description. To do the weapon swap combo: Hold block for the entire combo: Tondo > evade to cancel the rest of the tondo animation > because you are holding block, half of the evade animation gets cancelled early > swap weapon > any sword ability
keenly jagged bleed doesnt stack with tondo bleed for finish damage btw keenly emp would probably be danker
Build can work woth 100 con istead glass cannon ?
You could try 250int, 150dex and 100 con, would still be high damage, and you would be over 10k hp
@@AmbrielNW why vicious+keen on sword ? is not better keen+attunement+ perk ?
@@AmbrielNW and for gear wath you think istead of ele aversion running freedom/shirking ?
@@flowless1773 To utilize both freedom and shirking fortification, you would have to take damage, and you are too squishy to really get much benefit from it, because you will die in 2-3 hits anyways, even with full shirking fort, so it is better to never trade hits, keep your distance to melee players, and instead reduce the damage you cannot control, that being muskets.
If you would like to run the same build with either freedom or shirking fort as the last perk, I would go 150con, 50str, 50 int and the rest into dex. (That would be easier to play, although lower damage)
does omni directional evade perk work still since u dont have the actual rapier perk in ur build tree?
it's on the rapier tho
I've rocked the gs/rapier build is dirty as well
Refreshing is the BiS perk here?
It is the bis perk after resilient to do well with this build. 1:29 I get my cooldowns back almost immediately after using them
Love this take on the rapier bleed build!
I've seen each bleed do as much as 4k+ damage on light armor healers when I do this 😆

all light armor pieces + a round shield
The detonate at the end rofl
jesus bro your rapier work is so fucking clean!!!
Dial down the music a bit. Great vid
Oh i'm definitely in this video getting killed on Nysa.
insane bro
so sick!
That detonate thingy + leaping strike at the end is so toxic to watch 🤣
They need to nerf detonate, it is absolutely crazy😆 And so easy to do, just pop detonate and use leap after counting to 2 for a quick kill
ok i've build this, i have to admit that this is probably the hardest build to learn. But that flourish dmg... jesus... this crap hit so hard... everytime i manage to live long enough to be able to use it im suprised why my opponent is dead xD
The more you master this build, the longer you can stay alive, while dealing that much damage 😉
Very nice build I have same build but garbage gear
this guy gonna be rampage swapping on future pvp update.
My swap buttons are going to catch fire 🔥🔥 Haven't tested it myself on the ptr, but I've heard from friends, and if it is as good as they said, this bleed build is going to get a nasty buff 😆
@@AmbrielNW 💯 on 🔥🔥
Hey nice video!
Dafq all i see is bow in Outpost rush.
That is why I run only thrust resist 😆
Love to see builds that need skills to perform It. Simply LOVE It even tho i could be that healer 🤣🤣
The way you just delete them is hilarious
Physical aversion is doing way better bro, guess elemental is bugged
Have they changed it? 😮Elemental aversion used to reduce all elemental damage, including muskets with elemental split gems. I've just assumed it's still working and always ran ele aversion. What kind of testing have you done?
Damage is getting so out of hand now.
I agree, fights have turned into who can one shot who the first. I've started to explore medium and heavy armor because of this
looks funny, but ez vs all thoose light armor player with any movement
kinda looks gross - may try
It is a really fun build but be prepared to die a lot if you are not used to playing glass cannon builds!
playing mage in NW rn is not fun. yikes...
Maybe I should try to make a mage build 🤔
People who use SnS in pvp are soooo cringe 😂😂😂😂😂
this works 1v1 thats about it, otherwise terrible
Well, it's an assassin build, whose role is to sneak up on targets behind enemy lines(healers/ranged, anything light with 150con or less) and kill them one by one as fast as possible. It's not meant for 1vX. Imagine a small-scale fight, 10v10, enemy team have 5 healers and 5 bruisers, your team have 5 healers, 4 bruisers and this build. This build would make a massive contribution to winning the battle because no healer can out heal a clean one-shot. Hope that changed your perspective towards the build 🙂
Why arent they just dodging? These are npcs lol
I'm going to leave a short analysis of the first few fights:
0:13 the stagger lasts long enough to perform finish, so shield bash is a death sentence as you get stunlocked until finish explodes.
There is no need to explain how it works or what it does.)
+ for your build, blood letting is also a waste.
Your first thought is he's cheating? Lmao
Read what he wrote, you can cancel the Tondo animation with evade and then into flourish it's actually amazing the way he does it
@@chewi8560 yet it stil connects yeah no that is a macro set up and we all know people have been banned for that
@@thanuestudent_4555 Watch closely you see something called ability, he knows when to evade, when to evade cancel the tondo, when to roll and in which direction, when to swap weapons, and when to cancel the animation. This reaction and decision-making; no Macro helps you with that.
