I think we SHOULD respect animals (including dogs) because they are creations of Allah. Even if they’re haram (for example: dogs) we still have to respect them because they are a part of the creations of Allah. It’s sad that most Muslims treat dogs badly (in Bangladesh mostly where I was). Btw, this Animation is so cute, mashallah!
Finally this aspect of islam is being brought forward. Here in the Indian Subcontinent, people who claim to be 'devout muslims' abuse animals, both stray and domestic. I've seen these so called 'devout muslims' kill animals like dogs and pigs, just because it is najis. Shame on these people

Allah has made certain animals halal and even if we kill an animal to eat it we are still advised to treat the animal with care.

In the age where animal abuse has been normalised this message was well-needed. Animal abuse related media is becoming far more accessible and it's concerning. The meat industry is extremely brutal to the point even non-muslims are beginning to refrain from meat consumption.
I did lost my cat few weeks ago I do feed him, I do give him my time to care and give him a good shelter But it was kinda bothering on how I lost him even now to this day it feels like it was my fault- I shouldn't be thinking like this but I hope I will see him again

I dont know that much about the regulations of contact to a dog. I mean i would touch a dog and i did it multiple times. I remember that i heard that touching a dog breaks your wudhu? Or was it ghusl? I dont know, but since i dont have a dog i dont get to touch dogs that often. So i dont care if my wudhu or ghusl breaks. I mean im not gonna pray or read quran in this state so whats the matter? As lond as it isnt haram i dont have any problems with touching a dog. The reason i love dogs or wanna give them love and positive affection is because they are the creatures of Allah.
