I never knew those last 2 digits on the back of NECA figures were the distribution year. I checked all my boxes and sure enough. This fact has already helped me find a particular release Terminator I wanted so thank you so very much!
U're welcome! Yep, I'm pretty suprised, that many people don't know this, as well as most top-utubers, cause they basicly don't show this info in their vids. Yeah, the newest Neca' releases have this format of the production date N MM/DD/YY, but as I remember the earliest have the reversed number, for examp YY/MM/DD. This is why, some people think that they have bootlegs, but often it's a reissued figure. By the way, bootleggers usually copy the very first edition of the toy, if we speak about printings on the box.
Great video! This figure is fairly confusing with the number of versions and bootlegs, I now feel much more confident with the one I ended up ordering.

My edition is very very different from those 3, in my edition it includes the open hands, while the closed ones are as accessories. What most strikes me is that the eyes of my predator are printed in paint and are very similar to the eyes of the predator in the movie. That and many other things. The one I have looks very real, maybe it's a 4th version :O

Yes, as the mascot of the franchise JH will have a plenty of reissues. So the main idea is to buy from a legal destributor.

In 2010-2011 ther was only Classic pred with a damaged biomask, as I remember.

I have this figure from Best Buy few months ago and I'm so confused between those versions and the one I have because it's different from that versions so I don't know which version is mine and it has bones color schemes for the skull and the skull attached to the spine so maybe it's the lights from the camera or is it different than mine. Other than that sweet review including comparison between those 3 figures!
Thank you! I believe you have the original reissue. Just check the production date on the bottom of the box in the number, that contains "N", it should differ from these in the vid. The last two numerics is the year: 17, 18, 19, 20 and so on.
I just bought the 4th reissued in 2021 in May 2023. Actually, I prefer the 3rd reissue with much more varnish than 4th one. However, I could hardly find the 3rd version. For the 2nd version, I could still see it available in Hong Kong but I don't like it as its net is thicker and looks more like a fake one. Actually I bought most of lost tribe members after watching your videos to determine the version I prefer to own.

Wonder why they changed the paint on the last version!? I noticed that when i bought mine from online so didn’t know until i got it. The original color of the armor is more silver than bronze. Don’t understand the change
I think they're making experiments, cause in that case there are new buyers as well as people who have the original would like to buy another toy in different colors. Marketing move, you know)

Ну, тут лайк. Купил себе такого. Судя по следам попадания на шлеме, у меня 3 версия. И тут сходства с твоим закачиваются. Без обид, но мне кажется мой намного лучше покрашен. Но у моего голова без маски не лакированная. И кисти рук по-другому лежат.
Нет проблем) Лучше сравнивать начиная с номера на дне коробки, раз с 3-ей версией есть отличия, скорее всего у тебя уже следующее издание.

Да, есть еще 3-4 версии контрабанды/подделок, тут я именно оригиналы показываю.
I came across the 3rd edition at Best Buy. I’m glad I bought it. I noticed on mine the self destruct device on the arm is rotated more outward. I wanted to do a pose of him using it but I can’t. I’m afraid of twisting the arm and braking it
Oh, that's nice! Well, there should be a rotation in a forearm. Some people warm their figures with hairdryer or in a boil water at their risk..

I think the 3d ed is the better choice, as it has better proportions due to remolding.

I just bought mine from Best Buy, and the battle damage on the helmet is colored in but looks very faded and nothing like the ones in the video.
Yep, I believe you've got a modern reissue. Check the date code number on the bottom of the box.
I have the very right one and i wasnt sure everytime if its fake or real😅

@@MoscowTKD Haha. If you can, you should also buy 2021 release and then 2023 release to make a full comparison, which will probably be the only one in the TH-cam. I have watched each of your comparison reviews several times to help me distinguish between the various versions, and also between the authentic and the fake ones. As far as I know so far, you are the only one in the TH-cam making such comparisons across different versions and I become one of your subscribers for this reason. I started collecting all the predator figures in 2022 and I always make my purchase of old predators after seeing your reviews

I’m having the same problem. I think it might be a bootleg Wich is extremely disappointing. I ordered it from Walmart’s website. Thinking it would be sent to me from a Walmart super center but now I’m not so sure.

Sorry, no information about that, but I think that JH always will be reissued, as it's a maskot of the franchise. I myself waiting for Warrior and Shaman preds, which are coming in july and august'22, I want these really bad.

Ого, круто, издание марта 2021, релиз скорее всего осень 21 - зима 2022. Любопытно было бы взглянуть, есть ли еще отличия.
