Hey NM! I have my siren wired the same way (red for power and black for neutral; red on terminal 3 at the panel, and black on terminal 4 at the panel). However, my Honeywell WAVE-2 makes a constant low vibrate/rattle/buzzing sound. I tried troubleshooting online, but didn't find anything yet. Any idea what that might be? The only thing different with my Vista 20P set up is I upgraded to the 1361 Transformer (16.5VAC, 40VA) over the 1321 (but not sure if that's sufficient to make a difference). Thanks!
I might have actually figured it out. I just realized I don't have my backup battery installed yet (it hasn't arrived yet). Do you think that's the cause?
@@NM_Tech - Hey NM, thanks for the follow up. Yes, I got resolved. There was actually a resistor (it wasn't 2k... it was like 820 ohms, or something like that) that needed to be inside the siren. Once put in place, the buzzing went away. Thanks!

Check sirens manual to check what voltage it needs and double check what wires go where
@@NM_Tech Okay, will do. Thank you.
@@views40I’m not sure if you’re still following this comment thread or not. If you are, have you resolved this?
