- On our way to Motihari, we came across Sahu Mishtan Bhandar which is some 50 km away from Patna. Their Kala Jamun with Malai and Samosa Kadi are so famous that anyone crossing this shop makes sure to stop by and try this amazing treat. Sahu Sweets claims to have one of the biggest Mithai units in the country and claims their mithai is one of the best you will ever eat. Thanks for publishing this video, which is an eye opener for travellers from other states where and what to eat in Bihar. After seeing the video I decided not to eat anything in Bihar if I go there next time. I doubt whether FDA is there in Bihar to check the conditions of places where the food items are prepared.
Sir please do not spread hate here. See the experience of blogger. FDA is no where relevat here. Dear samosa and sweets are not prepared by machines. I think you have not seen how sweets and samosa are prepared? But they are prepared by hand. I dont know where are you from but one thing is clear. The food is prepared with pure ingredients and there is nothing type of 'eye opener' that you want to expose and make your comment heavy. The people of Bihar are awesome with simplicity and big heart. See the size of venture and kindness and good behavour of owner. But don't lose heart. If you come here, you will find good ambience.
Attachment towards one’s own state and culture is very important but that doesn’t mean that you have to defend anything for everything. Many a times I visited Patna and had food over there but that was in good restaurants. I still remember the Tinda Subzi once I had in a restaurant of Patna, which changed my mindset of that particular vegetable. Every time when I visited vegetable market in Delhi, I purchased the vegetable and requested my wife to prepare that type of subzi. If one want to know native food culture of any particular state then one should go to local restaurants or road side eateries or dabas. If this is the condition of local eateries you cannot popularise your state’s best food to others.
@@paramasivammurali Sir I agree with you and there is always a scope for improvement with respect to hygine and kitchen. But the traditionally the way of making does not change. And this is true all over in other states too. Particulatly, for this video what you did not like? I belong to Bihar but have not visited there though this goes to my native town.

Hi Gaurav, your presentation is wonderful, but this place really 0 on hygiene why in our india after earning soo much money business man are not bothered about hygiene, God is saving all people who eat here.
Yes, hygiene should be improved, but considering the prices and the quality the owner is hardly earning something to spend on hygiene. It is just break even, if he spend on hygiene the prices would be doubled, it may not make any difference for some of us but surely the gentry over there may not prefer double prices over a little bit of hygiene.
Indian street food and even most of the restaurants is all about unhygienic tasty food,,, wherever you go you will have the same complaint... so its better you stop going out for eating, watching indian street food...
