I was in the marines for 3 years I joined when I was 17 and was honorably discharged with a Purple Heart medal after having my left leg blown off by a bomb. I watched my comrades die painful deaths. I now am 21 and have ptsd. I wake up most nights screaming. And now I feel no emotion when seeing sad stuff. When my older brother died I didn’t cry. When my dog died after being hit by a car I showed no emotion. I have had such a hard life that now I feel nothing. I never cry I never laugh I never show love. Emotions are weakness and you can’t afford to show emotion. I think about ending it all everyday. But I have to go on for the ones I used to call my friends and family.
This reminds me of my dad when I got back home from school I thought it was gonna be a good day after that he gave me a banana everyday when I get on the bus waiting on my porch then when I came back he passed away😥😭❤️
