I am a senior, originally from Southern California. I grew up with people of every color, faith, and sexual orientation - I don't need Disney's agenda lessons - I grew up with them! I have no use for this poorly written, poorly staged show - people are calling it boring! 😒🤔 👎

I think the agenda can be there, carried with a truly smart, story-oriented script. The issue is there is no wit, no subtletly. They punch you on the face with a shallow message and then haphazzardly put together some lackluster story to go along with it, all built on the back of past glories, since they can't create anything new and valuable. And we notice it, and it's disgusting.

Cameron sounds exactly like a 20 something I worked with for a while who was utterly floored when I showed him what my favorite tv show is (Rescue 911) and explained to him that it was created as entertainment but also served as a teaching tool for viewers because 911 wasn't the one stop "what's your emergency" shop we know it as today.
He actually called me a liar and insisted that 911 "has always existed" when I told him that most places didn't get 911 services until the early 90's (it came online in my hometown in 1989 but wasn't fully integrated for all city regions until 1991) and that people my age (40 at the time) were taught the four emergency numbers (Fire, Police, Medical, Poison Control) by their parents and those numbers were either programed into the phone (if you had one that could do that), or in my family's case were printed out on a piece of paper that was laminated and taped to the wall under the kitchen phone and to the desk by the phone in my dads office.
People like him are just too dumb too understand that the world actually existed BEFORE they were born.

"Modern Star Wars projects have expanded the universe." That's an odd take, since the very first thing 'modern' star wars did was axe everything but a handful of movies and TV series from the timeline. "Man, this house just has /too many/ rooms. The modern media way- appropriate nerd culture to mine the depth of creativity, change it to “force” diversity in a disingenuous way, ignore the lore that made it unique, throw together a script/story that does not appeal to the established fan base or fit in the fictional world, then play the victim when it doesn’t go well and attack the fans that made it an attractive IP to pursue in the 1st place. *Rinse & Repeat*

Who was literally in the movies since "The EMpire Strikes back" because his mother and grandfather took him. (I don't remember if I was in for the first one cause I was born in 77)
The ones that knows the origin, names, and reasons for all the kids?
The one who threw a fit when he saw Finn's story (Not cause he was black) but because it was a rehash of HAN'S ACTUAL STORY!? The Real one, not the DISNIFIED ONE?
Who still thinks Finn should of been lead into the New Jedi Order by Luke who would of NOT TRIED TO KILL HIS NEPHEW WHICH WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN NAMED BEN!
    Who has watched the interviews?
Who has the shirts and coffee cups, and has played those RPG's in groups for years?
Yeah..... The ones that criticize all the stuff that deviates from what we've kept alive for years and still gets ticked off for it?
Those fans. The ones angry at the state, or apathetic. Who look at it and say "The games are better than anything these "incusive *** ***** ******* ***** **** **** ***** ***** *** " Want to shove down people's throats?
The ones who got all the rest of their family to watch or engage with it? The ones upset with the Cultural vandals affecting everything, who don't understand "Without Respect, We Reject!"

None of the games, books, guides, and certainly never bought a figure, cosplayed as their favorite character or ever wondered what was in store next for the Galaxy Far Far Away. For them it is only Consume Product and Then Get Excited For Next Product. I know someone from work who is not even 20 and loves classic Star Wars because of their parents (who are both huge Star Wars fans, mentioning that their MOTHER was the bigger Star Wars fan), and despises what Disney has done. Well good luck trying to keep a franchise going without that generational legacy, because your new fans aren't the family type.

Let's call it what it was, too. "Oh, Star Wars is for EVERYONE! ... EXCEPT *YOU* , YOU BIGOT!" But then not only did the fans mock it to death, their own "activist allies" went rabid on it. I remember that people made fun of aspects of the prequel series, like JarJar Binks, but the fans never hated on the prequels like they have the sequel series. I don’t blame the fans for the hate, because it’s clear that the creators of the sequel series hated Star Wars long before the fans had a chance to react.

Cameron had no idea what he was saying. Heck, I was excited when daisy and john were casted. I wanted to see a badass female jedi and a stormtrooper jedi in the sequels. After the first movie sucked because of the unexplained mary sue moments, I inhaled copium and expected them to explain it in the next movie...then rian johnson happened and I finally gave up.

15:30 Hell, diving into the EU for a second, the books that put the EU on the map (Heir to the Empire trilogy) featured Mara Jade, a strong woman who was effectively Luke's equal minus the Force (and at the end of the trilogy her Force powers made her on par with him). She's one of _the most iconic EU Star Wars characters post ROTJ for a reason.
Also, the 'famous bikini scene'? Does the idiot realize she was forced into it by Jabba, especially when the alternative was getting fed to his Rancor? HAS CAMERON EVEN WATCHED RETURN OF THE JEDI?!

I always forget Collider is still a thing out there after their most popular talents left and they changed their format.
Not that it was a huge deal. The way some of them reacted to fans after TLJ, especially the inbred mutant known as Mark Ellis, was a glimpse at what most of them were with just a few exceptions (I.e. Jahns).

I don't know what planet they're living on, but on this one the customer is always right...whether they want to acknowledge that makes no difference. We're not buying what they're selling. It's as simple as that. If you are trying to sell cheap 💩 instead of quality entertainment, no one will buy your cheap 💩. If you continually insult your potential customers, they will refuse to spend their time and money on your cheap 💩. It's as simple as that. 🤷‍♀️ Until they learn how to have emotional intelligence and take accountability for their failures instead of deflecting blame on others, they will continue to fail. It's not rocket science. 🙄

yeah, but I think the issue is that these subscription services have muddied the statistics. Hatewatching and background watching score views that aren't really engaged with the material, but these excecutives mistakenly think they're doing fine. If these series were PPV, our voices, the voices of the fans would be clear since no one would buy this crap. For instance, I pay for Dinsey plus because my wife likes to watch the animated classics, but she leaves some of the new stuff playing to fall asleep to it. By the app's stats, my wife is the biggest new Star Wars fan, when in reality she hasn't seen shit.
