I refuse to give a crap about the world cups until they have a poper draw like an actual sport and stop fixing who plays who just because they want to make alot of money. If they can fix schedules then why can't they also fix matches and winners to make more money
Personally, I think it isn't. For me I preferred high quality, tightly contested 5 Test series, rather than bright and breezy two match mini series. The India England series was a 5 match one but was too one sided, BGT was high quality but not a classic. NZ's win in India was exceptional, I think that was the only result that will endure, in years to come, from 2024. I could definitely see Jarrod's point but disagree with him.
Disagree about the golf analogy. Golf in Australia is hitting great numbers, despite myself not playing it it has turned a corner and done very well, in one of my group chats I'm the odd one out when they are organising a round, we're all in out early 30s.
I disagree if u have three separate in themselves t20 & odi will not survive from grassroots level they will becoz then coaching will be of that type no need for endurance test there will be more focus on maximizing run scoring areas & specific academy will be set up for that only... & for test traditional set up ecosystem.. its already there
Good one... Jarrod is insightful though he does like the sound of his own voice ....Btw match fixing is still prevalent & a part of international cricket including tests....its called session fixing ... I've watched the Al Jazeera doc on TH-cam...A recently concluded ICC global t20 event final looked suspicious af
Thanks, we tried to strike the balance between asking intelligent (hopefully) cricket questions and letting our guest talk as much as possible without it being a monologue. Appreciate the feedback.
Yeah yeah I liked it guys ❤
Thanks, Lee, we try
Thanks Lee!
Great podcast guys!!!
Thanks, that's nice of you to say

I sympathise,I'm tired of gerrymandering the draws so that India play Pakistan and England play Australia
I liked the discussion about modern and 90s cricket.
Was 2024 really the best ever though?

Tbf Bangladesh's one too, but I see your point though I side with Jarrod on this one!@@adamgrant7951
I'm in the minority, I should probably have appreciated Athanaze, more

That's interesting, sometimes my friend makes me play it with him but I'm useless at it.

I saw that documentary, too. It was depressing. I think spot fixing, at the very least, it still prevalent
@adamgrant7951 100% agree
@@amitm2692 it's sad The ICC don't seem that interested in investigating.
nice podcast, but you guys should should let him just talk instead of constantly agreeing with him
Keep it up
Thanks, we'll work on it!
