That's an old Arma mechanic. If they kept the old mechanics it would be heaps better. If you look at new Arma mods, you can see DayZ melee mechanics being ported over.
@@jakeswallow877 it wouldn't work. They could create an animation for dead body's being drug around but it would probably look horrible and clip through the ground and what not. It would also be cool to be able to hoist characters and small animals over you're shoulder and carry them but these are all just pipe dreams. 😙💨

DayZ on ARMA 2 started as a co-op mission where you had a small team that needed to complete objectives and get to the radio tower to evac out. This maybe was 2011-2012. Looking back at alllllllllll the hours I've played DayZ, Arma 2, Arma 3, DayZ SA it ranks as my second favorite game ever.
I know you guys have been pigeonholed into playing DayZ like it or not so I'm glad to see you still having fun and finding new ways to stay entertaining and FRESH. Luv ya.

I love watching them but as someone who has in the past turned hobby into career I know it can become joyless and tedious even if you really used to enjoy it. I for one love DayZ but after playing for sooooo long NEEDED a long break. I hope they never get bored and keep releasing new and entertaining content!

Following the track record if our next update is the biggest one of the year (like 1.14 last year) I really hope it’s a big base overhaul update, I’m hoping new vehicles, building mechanics and reworks, legacy features like dragging bodies
The Dayz mod was 2011 or 2012? They should have kept the game like the mod. It was a far better experience. The current game is ok but the gunplay is too easy. It takes the terrifying immersion and soul out of the game which it once had.
You guys should try getting empty syringes an fill them with the blood n inject people with them. It kills SOOO fast with the wrong type an the animation is super quick 👌

those were the best days lol. hella modded servers, running less than 10 fps, over 50 ppl running around on a map. oh man. brings a tear to my eye

No they could spend time finding new ways to survive BUT many flow towards action because it helps get views more often.
