For the first time in 17 years my '04 TJ didn't pass inspection because it doesn't have a 3rd brake light. I bought an LED disk for my spare tire mount, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get power to it. Nobody seems to know. 4 Wheel Parts clipped the wires when they added the Warn bumper and tire mount so I have nothing to work with. I pulled the right rear fender protector off, but I don't see any wiring to work with, just a plug I assume is for the brake light.. Can anyone offer any advice?

what did you use to clean the connectors? and were you able to get a video or a shot of how to get to the connectors in the tailgate?

I just used wd40 and a wire brush... just had to knock the layer of crud and corrosion off. Not sure about your second question. Can you explain what you need?
