    - Suppressing the protest won't help in the long run
    - Listening to protesters instead of treating them as criminals could be a better solution
    - Better communication between the government officials and protest leaders could help address their demands and prevent the protests from turning violent.

Hii guys i am a learner from unacadmy and i have studied polity from siddharth sir on plus platform. I have some bit of suggestion for whome who are not on plus platform.Guys do write things which sir is highlighted like ar19(3) "reasonable" is a key word. If you are preparing for any civil exam.
Simply said farmer protest is not a type of protest which is written in constitution. They are going voilent means state can do anything to protect soverginity, intigrity etc...

Neither Their way of protesting is Matured ( because they are not intellectuals) nor their demand is in coordination with the theory of Economics and International laws.
Their demand is like Nationalisation of Agriculture.

First of all this is not merely a farmer protest, this is backed by political parties and international organisations and personality.
They are not even farmers who have such a luxury to maintain such equipment for protest....
Whosoever backing this so called farmer protest setting a wrong example of protest. Even a genuine protest in the future will be affected by such behaviour of political parties.
The Aam aadmi party(AAP) is now the biggest headache for Indian democracy and the common people of the region whose life affection very badly.

Reasonable grounds of restrictions must be done because their way of protesting has gone beyond 'peaceful means' . People are worried to travel to delhi at this time especially by train or by bus. This is such a bad sign for us. If an emergency situation occurs, who will take the responsibility then? This is completely disturbing public order. This is such a bad sign for us. On our way to become a superpower this kind of behaviour just shows a lot of immaturity. The biggest thing is that farmers cannot just leave their work and come protest for months, it's financially disturbing for their families. So who are these people? It's quite obvious that they have a political backing. This matter must be resolved peacefully.
    Thank you sir.
    Great video.

Thank you for the video sir, peaceful protests are healthy for a democracy and protests violating reasonable restrictions is unhealthy
But unfortunately, for most people like me the only source of information wheather the farmers protest falling under the former or latter category is the news channels which are is extremely biased towards either the government or the farmers.
If farmers are blocking the roads and causing inconvenience to citizens it's unacceptable, it is equally unacceptable if the state is restricting a peaceful protest, but I do not know the ground reality
I can only wish the reasonable demands of farmers are accepted at the earliest by the state and unreasonable demands must be withdrawn by the farmers and an amicable understanding reached between the parties

Firstly we know that no government in india was ever against the farmers but still there was some conflicts happened in past between state and farmers and mostly the state has to agree with their demands previously but the main thing is that those protests are on all india level . I think Punjab is the only state which is exploited by the state by getting highest msp prices for their crops still they talk about exploitation of farmers by taking their shares. This time their demand is on next level msp law for all crops, again debt waiver to them (basically revdi culture) , ban on ftas and withdraw from wto, pension to farmers . And how they r going to have their own way by blocking public roads, disturbing supply chain, blocking railway lines ,clashing with police personnel and again to go to delhi to do the same thing which they done previously
MP and West Bengal have more population of farmers then Punjab and even produces more grains than Punjab
Its just the paid propaganda jto disturb the internal peace of our country
