      Richard Heart interview please (love the interviews and hearing your thought processes)! Regarding Richard Heart - (HEX \ Pulsechain \ pulseX) the world's largest airdrop, and the new fork of ethereum with the full system state application layer included! Richard is economically brilliant and very savvy with software and blockchain, he's a very interesting person in the crypto space and growing quickly. I'd love to hear your guys talk & exchange ideas! I think this new pulse chain fork will be incredibly impactful because it will allow blockchain projects and application layers to be built that do not have to provide a high yield to offset the gas costs. As it is things now like decentraland can no longer operate on ethereum because the gas fees have made the application unusable on ethereum. Only banking type applications with a high yield makes sense on ethereum anymore, pulse chain solves this as well as a large degree of the scaling issues

    I love Saylor, but I think at times he really misses to make a point for a given question. He loves to talk about the same examples over and over again. I think it would help a lot if he first answers the question and then give examples afterwards, people drift away otherwise. I've seen pretty much every interview of Saylor out there, but it's always the same. Also it seems to me that nobody actually has the guts to interrupt Saylor to tell him to get to the point of the question.

      Also, Saylor has a vested interest in downplaying other cryptos and propping up bitcoin. He says bitcoin is unique, to which I disagree. It’s a technology that can be duplicated to infinity. It is solely reliant on the network effect where the majority of crypto users agree to use this blockchain versus another copy of it.

    Really great job Raoul. Michael clearly misses the point on securities law. Thinking that Gary Gensler is the smartest guy on securities law is nonsense. The point is Gary has not given any clarity on what is a security. " The commission has refused, despite many pleas over many years, to provide regulatory guidance about how our rules apply to crypto-assets, so some of the responsibility for the lack of LEGAL and Regulatory clarity lies at our doorstep" Hester Peirce US SEC commissioner. Figured Michael might like, since he likes to quote people from the SEC

      Im happy to see that somebody else spotted this too. I respect and appreciate Michael Saylor alot, but i do feel that this was the only one point that he was incorrect on and im glad that Raul Pal picked up on it. Firstly, XRP does not pass the Howey test and all sectors/brokerages agree apart from the SEC. That point aside, Its not purely about wether it is a security or not. Like Raul Pal mentioned, its a new thing that definitely requires a new framework. The real problems in the SEC/XRP case came in when they granted Ethereum a free pass, even though Ethereum is closer to a security than XRP is, and also the corruption happening within the SEC around this. Well spotted.

      Bitcoin doesn't have smart contracts to enable defi networks. It's very rudimentary and has a higher level of security. The biggest issue is that overtime with the PoW mining, it becomes more vertical and actually more centralized.
      I still own some, but there isn't really much you can do with it. Its always the same metric. Price.

    Most people do not understand what bitcoin is yet, when the penny drops it may be too late. It will put wealth in many hands that wouldn't have much.

    1:11:36 “let’s say you have to register. What is the issue”
    I’ll tell you what the issue is RAOUL. It means all the insiders at the ETH Foundation have to disclose who owns what shares of ETH & when they are making big trades. Then, everyone finds out how centralized it is & how much it’s actually controlled by 3-4 major holders & 2-3 major exchanges. Everyone gets to see when they are making trades (of both their unearned bitcoin & ETH tokens) & when they are manipulating the price to create the illusion of it competing with bitcoin (as they extract value from the small fish ETH fans). This is essentially what Michael was trying say in a NICE WAY: They can’t persist in an ethical / transparent manner because they a deceptive by their very nature & design.

    Saylor is a great asset to Bitcoin, but he's starting to look more and more like a one-trick poney. Every interview, all he does is repeat the exact same analogies over and over again. He's gotten so used to repeating himself that he sometimes does it even within the same conversation. He should just put an audiobook out with his greatest hits and stop giving interviews altogether.

      But all of his commentary is based off the exchange rate to dollars 💵 🤷🏻‍♂️. You can trade bitcoin for nothing but dollars. Truth be told all these BTC holders are excited about potential “DOLLARS”. Also it’s odd to me when he speaks of BTC as if it’s physics. All trades, currency, commodities, goods, service etc. require supply and demand. That leaves an enormous amount of uncertainty of all said assets. We do know this though. There is “X” amount of dollar denominated debt thus creating “X” amount of dollar denominated demand. My dos pesos worth every cent.

    • @aqualuxx
      @aqualuxx 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s what I thought too - Masterworks tokenizes Picassos - however that’s basically what Saylor is saying with the energy argument just replace energy with art.
      Second time I’ve heard the energy argument- first time was on Dr Peterson’s podcast and I was mind blown bc it flips the entire narrative on its head. Super glad to hear Saylor pick it up and promote it bc now it will finally get the exposure it deserves. I’m sure the likes of Liz Warren will ignore it is they can.

    I am a massive Bitcoin bull. 70% of my net worth is allocated towards it. I am also in real estate. I have a hard time agreeing with their perspective in saying how much better Bitcoin is than purchasing real estate to rent out. I’m in the business, I understand how difficult it is. Dealing with tenants, local municipalities, maintenance etc and would much rather just own Bitcoin and not do real estate. Like Raoul said, Bitcoin takes no effort whereas real estate is a lot of effort. But there is one massive difference between the two assets. One cash flows (if done right and with some luck) and one does not (Bitcoin). I would argue cash follow or yield is more important than appreciation. How can you use Bitcoin to yield income ?
