Chris was always very supportive to Eddie while many of Seattle guys didnt like Eddie cuz he came from San Diego. Chris was one of the fews that very welcome to Eddie in Seattle.
Kylejacklemmon I still can't believe it man, it's just a shame. Of all the people I wouldn't have thought Chris would go out like that, especially at that stage of your life.
I am a black dude who's big on rap music. To say Chris and Chester Bennington we're a big part of my life is an understatement. Tough to lose such talent bro. RIP
Listen to whatever music you want man I'm black to and some of the students at my highschool think I'm weird because I don't only listen to rap lmao but it don't matter
I'm telling you guys, audio book about Chris called "Total Fucking Godhead" If you appreciate him now wait till you listen to the book.. UNREAL!! He inspired a new revolution of music and no one will ever sound like him ever again!! ✌✌
So I just read the title without reading the description and I am thinking this is Eddie talking about his and Chris’s relationship and maybe how his death has effected him and so when he introduces Chris to come out in stage, I lose it! It’s really been a tough blow loosing Chris and I know it will be equally hard (for me) when/if something happens to Eddie and I’m still here. My junior and senior year (graduated in 93) we’re amazing mostly because of these guys!! They stayed with me all these years and when something happens to one of them it’s like loosing a best friend, one who knew you so well and that you knew so well. I know you guys feel me... peace!
And since I’m writing this today and it happens to be April 5 I will pay homage to some other really cool guys that we all love (or MOST love) Curt Cobain 4-5-94 and Layne Staley 4-5-02 Gone never forgotten

This is my favorite video of These two! Eddie is so sincere when talking about Chris. You can see the bond between them it's unconditional love and I am so sorry that Chris is no longer with us!😔🎼 Such a great talent they both are amazing! 📣♥️
To have lived next to Chris .... I just wished to have seen him preform live . RIP to the Greatest artistic presence of the modern era, Chris you’re effect on the lives of too many people to count is a testament to the heart and soul you poured into every thing you did.
I'm 26 my dad passed when I was 14 and my dad passed on his taste in music to me. Im so blessed to not be listening to the garbage on the radio I know real music. Hearing pearl jam and soundgarden is magical the way it transports me back to riding around Norfolk with my parents with CLASSIC 90s music blaring thru the speakers. Love anyone who loves soundgarden, audioslave, alice in chains, stone temple pilots, nirvana. And Bush. Love y'all
That was good that Eddie was able to hug him there a d his Pearl jam band enjoying him there. I would love loved to inspire Chris and help him pain but it's too late.
Why, Chris... why!!!? Jeff Buckley, Layne Staley... and Chris Cornell... three parts of my very own splintered heart gone missing... and i feel just so damn devastated even today, more than ever and I know, I know that's how is gonna always be!
Eddie, if you read this. Fan since 10, you are the Last One Left. Be Good, Be True, Be Proud. You’re the Last One from Grunge. Live on, and Carry On mate. Please .... :-)
eddie needs protecting, out of all the main grunge front men he’s the only one left. a case could be made for billy but idk if the pumpkins were necessarily grunge
I lived through the suicide, OD & accident deaths of Freddie M, Shannon H, Kurt C, Layne S, Bradley N, Cliff B, Lynn S, MJ, Prince, Chris C, Tom P & Chester B, no more PLEASE....
I wish I could understand suicide...he had SO MUCH to live for, his children being the biggest reasons. He had friends, he had love in his life, success...I don't get it.
Eddie always looked so happy when he was with Chris:(
His cheeks were so chubby too :-)
I agree
Chris was always very supportive to Eddie while many of Seattle guys didnt like Eddie cuz he came from San Diego. Chris was one of the fews that very welcome to Eddie in Seattle.
Damn, this hit me hard.. I thought this was after Chris' death..... Then he just walks on stage.. Holy shit
Me too. Was expecting a tribute speech. What a profound loss. Wishing you peace.
I know where's the rest of it?
RIP Chris..... we all love and miss you
Kylejacklemmon I still can't believe it man, it's just a shame. Of all the people I wouldn't have thought Chris would go out like that, especially at that stage of your life.
I read a comment saying “we need to bubble wrap Eddie”
I know it's so sad he is the only one left from the grunge music! Rip CC 📣♥️
Jerry Cantrell is just as precious.
Dave and Kris too.
The list goes on actually...
Bubble wrap the whole fucken lot, no more checking out early for the grunge gods!
Jimmy Richards last 2...
Agreed
Really needed to see them all smiling. Thank you.
Ikr, Chris Cornell is one of the few celebrity deaths to hit me really hard

Music will always be universal and connect ppl who feel that resonate with it. If it share a sentiment with you it is for you

No, they most certainly were not. They were also from Chicago, not Seattle, and were pretty much regarded as lightweight poseurs at the time.
Full Video isn´t available. Does anyone of you have the full video, of Hunger Strike?
My heart just sank! 😥 Why Chris? Why Chester?
I lived through the suicide, OD & accident deaths of Freddie M, Shannon H, Kurt C, Layne S, Bradley N, Cliff B, Lynn S, MJ, Prince, Chris C, Tom P & Chester B, no more PLEASE....

Grunge friends forever
💔💔💔
😭
Does anybody else think in this video that Eddie knew what was going to happen? He seemed very upset and emotional. TO ME
I REALLY HOPE I AM WRONG!
This video was from 2011..I was there at this show
Fuck, it really hurts to see Chris Cornell here and know that he is not with us anymore.
I wish I could understand suicide...he had SO MUCH to live for, his children being the biggest reasons. He had friends, he had love in his life, success...I don't get it.
chris looks just like jesus christ
Fuck this was really hard to watch...
Feels kindda weird for a hetero to admit how fkin handsome Chris was that day 😊 ..........😢
Did he avoid shaking hands with Matt...seems A bit awkward.
JesusChrist Cornell
Why Chris Why you shocked the World of music
So poignant nowadays
Yo is that Jesus?
