Clipper Metal Jet Lighter

  • A metal jet lighter made by Clipper as part of their "Metal by Clipper" series.
The lighter uses the standard metal housing that most of the metal clippers use, except it has a piezo electric ignition similar to what other jet lighter use. On the bottom of the lighter is the butane valve for refilling and an easy to use adjust wheel that can either be moved by fingernails or a coin or screwdriver to adjust the flame height from almost off to quite a large jet flame. I will keep the lighter on full as that is the most practical setting.
Like most jet lighters it is almost totally windproof, so it is good for lighting stuff on a windy day.
A big thank you to the subscriber/viewer who told me these were now sold normally on UK Amazon, as I had been waiting to get one for quite a while.

    • @adam100a8

Jeyar Chardy that defeats the whole design of this specific lighter. The flat side is there to scrape the product together that you’re rolling the blunt/joint/cigarette, and the shape is like that so the metal cap would be the right shape to hold a rolling paper or leaf, so you can stuff your product inside. This lighter defeats the purpose of the design.

Something must be blocking the hole just before where the flame comes from. To make the flame a 'jet' the only difference is that hole allows oxygen to be pulled into the flame just before the top of the part it comes out of.

    • @Weaponsandstuff93

It might be fine, issue is lots of butane companies say there's is "Extra refined" etc when it's really not.

The "jet" is simply a variation on the way the butane is released into the atmosphere. Don't fret the 3x 5x 10x refined claims-marketing malarkey most of it. Not like Clippers are expensive tools that are difficult to replace. I use whatever the local market has on hand.

    I hate this
Very good at begining but stop working
Using Colibri butane very good quality
All butane lighters i buy stop working or because electronic starter or because clogged.
