Just off the top of my head, any plane the President is flying in is called Air Force One. Looks like another place to add to the destination list. Thanks for sharing another great video.
Hi Stephen. That’s interesting, we didn’t know that! So I wasn’t actually being incorrect when I said that the tiny plane was air force one? Thanks so much for watching! It’s a genuinely fantastic place
This is a great museum! We have been several times when Michael had meetings at Robins. It is even better when you have someone along who is knowledgeable about the planes. Very interesting facts on the B-52 including the singing. 😂. You also probably wouldn’t want to fly in the wheel well even if there was room. 😬. Another great aviation museum is the National Museum of the US Air Force in a Dayton, OH. Not that far up the road, but it takes days to go through the whole museum. Robins has done a fantastic job with their museum there and it is well worth the time and effort to go. Thanks for sharing it out!
Yeah it was really good. We did feel like a tour guide (like at the udvar hazy) museum would have been great. If we are in the area again, we will go back. We kinda had to rush a little towards the end as it was getting late
Thanks Tom! We are quite a selfish channel really because although the RVing part it so interesting and there’s loads to learn, the best bit is begetting to explore so many new places. Both the Journey and the Destination are equally fun in our book!
Thank you for the tour of Robins Air Force Museum. It looked pretty cool. I would need a tour guide though maybe. That was pretty cool you telling of Air Force One with no windows. Thank you Laurence and Natalie for this video. Hope you both have a great weekend and Labor Day. Don’t labor. lol! Oh I was laughing when you were singing the 52 song and you were by a 52.
Loved the Airwolf reference 👌 The helicopter you were sitting in looked like a Huey. The pedals control the tail rotor, stick is direction and the elevator control in thr middle that you lift up and down controls the amount of lift generated by the main rotor blades (aka it takes you up and down). Amazing I still remember that from my Army National Guard days, lol
We had NO idea. But it was cool to be a seven year old pretending. I would have been more animated, but there was a lot of people around and I was already embarrassing Natalie 🤷♂️
Our knowledge of military vehicles is limited, but we are really enjoying learning the differences. We know about the UK stuff obviously. Everybody loves air wolf……..especially the theme song 👍👍
We actually have friends who are/we’re in the Navy. But Navy security is VERY very tight and there isn’t too many Navy museums on our route. However, we’ll see if we can find any on our route East and then South again
Great video! I retired from the Air Force and I love to see this stuff. You totally said it was “hooning” rain. I laughed…not a little…a lot. Sorry I was late to this vid but we were on top of the worlds largest flat top mountain that is also an extinct volcano. No internet up at 10,100 feet. No oxygen either. 😂😂😂
If I've killed you in call of duty....sorry lol when you you started off being asked if your stick was hard i was just shaking my head laughing...always a hoot with you guys!
Another tour of our old stomping grounds. We lived in that area for 9 years while Scott worked as an Air Traffic Controller on base. Which campground did you stay at? Would you recommend it? Are you going to the Hershey show?
That’s very cool! We stayed at Fair Harbor RV Park, Perry GA. 100% recommend! Fantastic campsite & if you go - be sure to say hello to Jeannie and Clay as I think they are there for a while! No we’re not going to the Hershey Show 😔 we might do the Tampa RV show again in January (seeing as we live close now) this trip is taking us back via Laurence’s HQ in VA
Fun fact, the plane right next to the SR71 is the F106A Delta Dart, which holds the world speed record for a single engine jet - 1525 mph. Flown during the Cold War, at one point it carried a missle called a Genie that was nuclear tipped. The theory was one Genie could take out a fleet of Russian bombers with one shot...
You might be able to get in the wheel well and ride but you would freeze to death first. The predisessor of the AC 130 was Puff the Magic Dragon "SPOOKY", the AC -47. To see the AC-130 in action Google Angel Flight. It's where the bring killed troops home. Will share more later.
Also, any aircraft that the POTUS is on is designated Air Force 1 during the time he/she is a passenger. Otherwise it will have a different call sign when POTUS is not on board.
Great video, unfortunately you didn’t really know what you was talking about in it, but I enjoyed your narration throughout it🤣 Word of warning if anyone is thinking of sneaking up inside an undercarriage be when the wheels were tracked up there isn’t too much room in the bay, if the wheels don’t chop you into mincemeat you’re more likely to freeze to death at high altitude👍🏻 I’ve got a cousin who had to clean the inside of the undercarriage when this happened to some poor guy😥
Omg! That’s crazy! We didn’t really know what we were talking about, but this was just a taster for people to go and explore themselves. Really cool place 👍

That's what she said!!!
And it really was hooning down rain that day. This was a really good day spent with our favorite Brits!!
Thanks so much for showing us around! Such an awesome week!!

Cool place. Thanks for the video. Another place to add to our bucket list.
Thanks Greg! It really surprised us how good it was. If Natalie likes a museum, that means it’s awesome!
What I really like about your channel, it combines RV related topics but also the things you can do when your RVing. Excellent as always!
Thanks Tom! We are quite a selfish channel really because although the RVing part it so interesting and there’s loads to learn, the best bit is begetting to explore so many new places. Both the Journey and the Destination are equally fun in our book!
Actually it's Major Brian Shul, crashed, burned and survived. Very entertaining speaker.
Wow. Thanks. Will check him out 👍
It is a great museum. We went several years ago and it looks like it is still very nice. Glad you guys got to see it. 🇺🇸
Yup! Really cool place. Would go back for sure!

Thank you for not confusing the Air Force with the Navy:). Also, I loved Air Wolf:)
Our knowledge of military vehicles is limited, but we are really enjoying learning the differences. We know about the UK stuff obviously. Everybody loves air wolf……..especially the theme song 👍👍
Look up major Brian ship on TH-cam, he was a Sr1 pilot.
Thanks Clark! We will check him out 👍
Love the C130… got 78 jumps from the Hercules. Love that aircraft. Fun video.
No way! The whole place was fascinating!
So glad you put the airwolf music in, that was running through my head from the beginning of the video!! Looks like a great time!
Thank you for noticing Brian…. We did this at huge risk of copyright infringement 🤣
We’ll see how long long this video stays up 👍
@@BrazenBrits the music was the best part of that show.
We loved this video! Now have that location on our to-do list. Of course it would be more fun with you and your commentary along!
Thankyou for the lovely comment 😁 and yes 10/10 worth seeing
Does hooning mean Pissing down Ha Ha 🤣
Exactly! 👍👍👍
I had 4000 hours of flying time in the B52. Have you been to the one at Duxford ?
We haven’t! Didn’t even know there was one there! Coooool
Had a friend that was the nav on the B52, when they flew it to England to give to museum
Now that was interesting. Looking forward to a Navy themed next.
We actually have friends who are/we’re in the Navy. But Navy security is VERY very tight and there isn’t too many Navy museums on our route. However, we’ll see if we can find any on our route East and then South again
@@BrazenBrits I can see a very large hangar with a "few" frigates/destroyers/battleships and carriers but maybe i'm dreaming after a few beers!!!
Love your humour, is that just me and your technical knowledge is amazing. I think you have found your calling😂. Great video, loved it
🤣🤣🤣🤣 thanks 🙏 😁

No way! Dude, you seem to go to the most awesome places! The museum was amazing. Totally loved it! Just wish we had more time there.
@@BrazenBrits Nah...I just make them seem awesome when I describe them. 🤣
You LIVE in an awesome place!
If I've killed you in call of duty....sorry lol when you you started off being asked if your stick was hard i was just shaking my head laughing...always a hoot with you guys!
You probably have! But mostly I get killed by 11 year old who like to remind me I’m old 🤣🤣
Cool place!
It was very cool! You would have loved it! So much stuff we couldn’t fit into the video

😱 that’s awesome! There’s just so much information overload here. You’d need a couple of days to absorb it all for sure!
@@BrazenBrits Don't tell my wife that! She commented last night that it looks like we need to go east for a visit. Multiple days might be too much!

I have the same nasty nose issues every morning myself, welcome to allergies life 🤣
It sucks! Seems to be worse in some states than others. It’s always a guessing game 🤣
I miss your verbage and accent... Hahhaa
I’m just gutted I didn’t get to make you a proper cup of tea!! Ah well, next time when everything isn’t so crazy 😁
@@BrazenBrits we can't wait..
FYI, the SR-71 here has the world record for speed and absolute altitude. The flight crew (retired) gets together with the plane once and a while
Awesome 👏
