The London office of Palantir was the target of demonstrations by pro-Palestine protesters in December 2023 after it was awarded a large contract to manage NHS data. The protesters accused Palantir of being "complicit" in war crimes during the 2023 Israel-Hamas war because it provides the Israel Defence Force(IDF) with intelligence and surveillance services, including a form of predictive policing.[68] In January 2024, Palantir agreed to a strategic partnership with the IDF under which it will provide the IDF with services to assist its "war-related missions".[106]

Palantir has a unique selling point, which is underappreciated a lot imho. It is the privacy and security of data from different entities in the ontology. getting data together involves events that aren't easily programmed. example; if a contractor starts to build a house for person A and person B offers the contractor double the money to get his house done in a week; then the contractor has a dilemma because although he would make more money with B, his reputation would suffer with A and A would spread the word that the contractor can't be trusted.
I applaud your courage to admit your error in judgment. Re NDR, it will likely explode above 120% in Q3 2024 earnings results, thus not a concern. If you do a deeper business analysis, you will understand where I am coming from. Just remember, unless something deteriorate fundamentally with the company, never bet against PLTR, as anyone who does so will lose big time financially.
So many good reasons to buy Palantir over the years did jack squat for the stock. They rode the coattails of the AI investment boom which allowed me to dump my stock on a high and turn a small profit. Thank you stock market. They might blow up in the future or they might not 11:50
First off respect for the honesty. That said, alot of what you discovered was known when your video aired. The only grace I could offer you is maybe the video was done a long time before it was aired. Now I personally think your star wars example is not really worth it. Its a nice to have. Palantirs real moat is how quickly decision makers can begin applying their technology in their enterprises. Not what the platform can do. This Big Data space has had alot of participants showing off amazing things you can do with their stuff. The problem has always been the time it takes to go from deciding you want it, to being able to experience real change in your enterprise. Thats why AIP Boot camp is impactful. Decision makers literally get to see their use cases integrated in less than weeks. Thats what the REAL MOAT. EVeryone else thats tangentially in this space are building things that still need a team of data engineers/scientists to deploy and translate into something deciison makers may see value from.
I've been a fan for a couple years and your original video regarding Palantir caught my attention and frankly caused to be reexamine my original conviction in the name. That being said, I continued to add to my position because I remained confident in the company although I was much more cautious than I had been in the past. Luckily, I continued to add into the most recent ER when the company shot up 30%+ and has held the majority of that move. It takes a great deal of integrity for a person to reevaluate their original analysis and an even bigger one to admit they were wrong. Publicly admitting it on a medium like TH-cam was just the cherry on top. I look forward to your future videos on the AI revolution. P.S. Your most recent video on SMCI has me reexamining that company since I had originally dismissed it as just one of the number AI pump and dump stocks out there these days.
Thanks for the kind words and you’re right. We all make mistakes and the goal is to grow from them and reexamine our positions as we get new information or learn to think in new ways.
In order to produce the best and newest chips for AI (HBM memory) and for other applications in the world, you need the machines that produce and test them the best in the world.

With all due respect Alex. I was wrong, happening quite too often recently. I would kindly suggest to focus more on the science as this is something you're very good at.
I respect coming out and admitting you were wrong. Everyone is wrong here and there. The problem with your views is that they are absolut and leave no room of doubt, especially in a stock with many retail supporters basically considering them fools. My advice to you would be to be generally more open-minded.
Just remember going forward your admitting that you were wrong is a double edge sword. Yes admitting you mislead thousands of viewers was definitely not good and glad I listened but didn't sell my position. For me sharing your thoughts with the kind of certainty you did about PLTR was not being considerate and you should be dinged and corrected for not thinking of the misleading guidance you were planting.
Quiet, honestly, I didn't view your PLTR video as bad but hard facts with the info and background you had at that time. In fact, I did buy and did well on my investment and your guidelines.

Great suggestion! I'm actually working on that right now.
@@TickerSymbolYOU - love to hear that! Looking forward to it. Thanks again for all the amazing work!
and here we go again with PLTR ... this is finally true love... until the next break up. Already seen this movie
getting data together involves events that aren't easily programmed. example; if a contractor starts to build a house for person A and person B offers the contractor double the money to get his house done in a week; then the contractor has a dilemma because although he would make more money with B, his reputation would suffer with A and A would spread the word that the contractor can't be trusted.
In karp I trust never doubted him
Thank you for your great video. I follow you from NZ. I am still trying to watch all your videos to learn how you analyse companies.
Hello from around the world!
Hello. I follow you from Romania. I like what you do, especially when you admit a mistake and correct it.
Thank you and hello from across the world!
It takes a big man to admit your wrong. Respect 🙏
Everybody is next nvda
Great Video :) totally agree- been a holder- wish I saw this when it was back at $7 6 months ago- this was easy to understand- thanks for the content!
My pleasure. Glad you enjoyed it.
I'd be interested in why you're not invested in Tesla. Seems incredible
Well structured and well presented video. Thank you Alex
Glad you liked it!
Thanks so much for your hard work🙏😊
I've been a fan for a couple years and your original video regarding Palantir caught my attention and frankly caused to be reexamine my original conviction
in the name. That being said, I continued to add to my position because I remained confident in the company although I was much more cautious than I had
been in the past. Luckily, I continued to add into the most recent ER when the company shot up 30%+ and has held the majority of that move.
It takes a great deal of integrity for a person to reevaluate their original analysis and an even bigger one to admit they were wrong. Publicly admitting it on a
medium like TH-cam was just the cherry on top.
I look forward to your future videos on the AI revolution.
P.S. Your most recent video on SMCI has me reexamining that company since I had originally dismissed it as just one of the number AI pump and dump stocks
out there these days.
Thanks for the kind words and you’re right. We all make mistakes and the goal is to grow from them and reexamine our positions as we get new information or learn to think in new ways.
Here is my take, pull back to 17-18 area before moving on to 120.
In order to produce the best and newest chips for AI (HBM memory) and for other applications in the world, you need the machines that produce and test them the best in the world.
Great video and perfect to admit to mistakes and learn from them. Thks!
Huge props
This is how trust is built 👏👏👏
Can someone please explain why Microsoft or Salesforce wont have AI platforms that are as good as Palantir’s? Thank you.
The PLTR long community was disappointed by your downgrade of PLTR. But, imo the community realizes everyone has their own perspective till PLTR has a more proven track record.
I alway appreciate you work/videos/perspective
Welcome back brother
I totally respect that you said you were wrong 👍
I have more than 3000 shares and will keep them for 10 years. It can be 2 million dollars in 10 years.
great vid/info! keep em coming!
Thanks! Will do!
With all due respect Alex. I was wrong, happening quite too often recently.
I would kindly suggest to focus more on the science as this is something you're very good at.
I greatly appreciate that you always update your findings so honestly. 👍🏼
Great video as always! Crowdstrike video coming anytime soon? :)
It's on the list of deep dives!
@@TickerSymbolYOU Looking forward to that! Thanks! :)
Best simplified explanation of palantir yet
Glad it was helpful!
I'm definitely getting this stock. Everything a.i. for me.
I respect coming out and admitting you were wrong. Everyone is wrong here and there. The problem with your views is that they are absolut and leave no room of doubt, especially in a stock with many retail supporters basically considering them fools. My advice to you would be to be generally more open-minded.
Great vid Alex. Respect. And thanks for the Wisdom tree cyber etf. It’s working out great already 😊
I resubscribed because of this video. I unsubbed previously after your videos saying palantir was doomed because it clearly wasn't.
honesty and good info is why i respect your work.
looking forward to see how you warm up to Tesla again, if that!
Good move acknowledging an error in your analysis Alex. Demonstrable reflection and correction always appreciated 👍
Great vid
Much appreciated!
Thank you so much Alex for your hard work, dedication, and objective perspective. I greatly respect your presentations as a result!
Glad you found it useful!
Spears bent into plow shears, that's what Alex means about restructuring.
Remember guys... When you listen to TH-camrs they get bullish on a stock when it is high. Buy high, sell low 😅
Great video!!!
