your story about your parents is so similar to my life!!! my dad was very manipulative and abusive my whole life to my mom... and idk long story short a few years ago she divorced him and now lives in her own condo and has so many friends and can save money and is so so happy! she used to never do anything for herself and now she does yoga??? and works out??? and SWIMS?? I've never seen my mom swim in my whole life. happy endings!!!

My parents didn't get divorced until I was 16 (I'm 19 now), and literally my whole life I would hope that she would leave him and it constantly broke my heart that she waited so long. It is so scary though. I remember when my dad found out, he went ballistic because my mom didn't warn him.. he got served the papers. It seems like the obvious choice to leave, but you never really know how that person feels. I hope things go well for your mom and you.

Megan you are such an inspiration to me. I’ve struggled with EDNOS and body dysmorphia since I was 9, and I’m 18 now. When I watched your video when you talked about your struggles with your weight and BED and then lost all this weight, it really inspired me to work out more, start lifting, and improve my relationship with food. I try to also dedicate my cheats to the weekends. Your videos also help me actually want to eat when I’m in a restrictive mindset. I want to get the point you’re at, physically and mentally. You’re amazing!!

Um. I know she means well but if you have an eating disorder please do not do that. Restricting during the week, cheating on weekends, and then fasting for more than 20hrs with exercising it off in the morning the next day is such a vicious, unhealthy and disordered cycle. She seems mentally healthy and to be doing just fine and all, but if you are still recovering from your ED that's another story. Just because she can pull it off healthily does not mean you will be able to do the same. In most cases that kind of lifestyle fules your ED. Sorry for any grammatical errors as I'm from a non English speaking country... I was just concerned for those with ED. I know Megan's doing fine and got it controlled but she's not you.
E H yep, everyone is different! Though I don’t think fasting is restrictive behavior. It’s completely normal to not eat if you aren’t hungry. We’re conditioned to eat breakfast, lunch, dinner even if we aren’t hungry. Which is actually really unhealthy!

Back in caveman days do you really believe the 'breakfast, lunch and dinner' regime was actually a thing? no. they hunted for their foods and would fast and rest days after. Although it can mess you up it can also create such good benefits. I think you should educate yourself on how these eating patterns are normal and okay and arent actually detrimental to our health. Society makes us believe 3 meals 2 snacks a day is how you should eat. but no. our gut isn't supposed to be working and digesting food all day long, every single day.

I gained 50 pounds after being diagnosed with PCOS and will always feel weird about my body. I was always the confident girl that didnt even think about my weight. Ive lost 35 pounds so far and I look pretty much how I used to but like you said, on days im bloated or if i try something on that is too tight, i feel sooooo bad about myself and I go right back to feeling like the fat girl. So i completely understand how you feel even after losing the weight

Back in caveman days do you really believe the 'breakfast, lunch and dinner' regime was actually a thing? no. they hunted for their foods and would fast and rest days after. Although it can mess you up it can also create such good benefits. I think you should educate yourself on how these eating patterns are normal and okay and arent actually detrimental to our health. Society makes us believe 3 meals 2 snacks a day is how you should eat. but no. our gut isn't supposed to be working and digesting food all day long, every single day.
Also thank you sooo much for the update about your Mom! Makes me soo happy to know she is loving life and moving forward in a positive direction. Stella Frutta actually most protein powders don’t contain a lot of sugar .. every brand I’ve ever tried have below 5 grams . & never have I ever had a shake that one of the ingredients include any type of dyes to make it a certain color. Maybe you’re drinking store bought protein shakes ..?

I gained 50 pounds after being diagnosed with PCOS and will always feel weird about my body. I was always the confident girl that didnt even think about my weight. Ive lost 35 pounds so far and I look pretty much how I used to but like you said, on days im bloated or if i try something on that is too tight, i feel sooooo bad about myself and I go right back to feeling like the fat girl. So i completely understand how you feel even after losing the weight
