Without a doubt you need to check out Pit of Consciousness live in Kiev. PoC is one of my personal favorites off of the Macro album and this Live performance is completely over the top. It is their first live show in thier home country after an extensive world tour so you know they brought their A game. Enjoy
Tati has leveled up her vocal skills. She used to need a bit to switch from growling to belting (as opposed to her usual cleans) live, but if you look up the Hellfest At Home virtual festival performance where Vortex was the last song, she's switching back and forth between belting and growling on a dime in Vortex now. She must have put some work into those skills during lockdown. The main influence musically and vocally in the first part of the song is Alice In Chains, for example Would. For a live performance, I'd suggest Pit Of Consciousness live in Kiev, though there are a ton of other options, including the aforementioned Hellfest pefromance (links to each song in the comments of that). Who Is Gonna Be The One official live and Perennial live at Wacken are some other great concert performances. Cheers!
Some people (reactors, too ;-) think what they're seeing is a swirling vortex from space or something with some kind of awesome new monster game-like character, when what they're actually witnessing is the brutal place that is Tatiana's troubled inner psyche of uncontrollable thoughts and emotions. Yes. Tool..Completely different styles but similar in a few ways. The roller coaster of each song, so much to chew on. Jinjer just does it in 4 minutes. Addictive value of each song. Enigmatic singer with 3 all star musicians behind them. Lots of Tool fans are digging this band.
