I didn't find out about this song until a couple years ago. I'm Gomer's sister, their original sound man. I ran with JB's then girlfriend Crysty back in the day. I remember this one night we were skinny dipping at the pool in the condos where she and JB lived -- I think there were some guys we had run into in a bar somewhere with us -- we all ran wild as hell. And JB came home from practice. Gomer's girlfriend told me a couple years back that they were at a show at the Fox and she said "and then they played that song about you". I said what song about me and she said you know, Ribs and Whisky. So I went and looked up the lyrics and yes, that was me. I remembered it clear as day. Made me laugh. Apparently this song has been around for some time and I never knew that I was so immortalized!
