Out of all the characters that had their glory in smash 4, Mario is one of the most similar to back then and Ally was one of the best. There's no way he stopped playing Mario in this game lol
I'm not sure if they don't like each other, but their rivalry stems back to Brawl. ESAM's Pikachu used to dumpster Ally's Snake (Pika had a 0-death chaingrab on Snake) and ESAM would beat Ally MK with ICs and sometimes Pika. Smash 4 reversed the roles and Ally on Mario would dumpster ESAM. The only time I remember ESAM had beat Ally in Smash 4 was when he used Samus.
I believe they have a big ass team that is split into maintaining the stream and uploading to youtube. The streaming software they use has a record option that is separate from the stream button. So when the match starts they press record, stop recording at the end, the video is saved somewhere in thier computer, then they upload the video straight to TH-cam without the need to edit. They upload multiple videos at the same time.
While I understand why Esam uses Pikachu, I mean not only he is sick with him but the character is also great. I really wish we could see his Samus more often.
This match Ally was bound to lose, it's near impossible for snake to get around pikachu's projectiles and quick combos especially if your opponent is skilled and knows the match up, Ally probably would've won if it was any other player

I honestly hate seeing ESAM’s dismantle Snake mains like it’s nothing, terrible match up combined with ESAM’s knowledge of Snake at this point makes the entire match a flurry of jolts and fairs while snake throws grenades out hopelessly
@@shatteredlights2629 Look at MVD vs ESAM at Don't Park, Pika definitely is at a disadvantage against Snake ever since Pika lost the chain grab that auto won the matchup. ESAM has admitted this on Twitter and has used Samus as a counterpick and won most matches against MVD's Snake. Ally just has a different, less campy playstyle than MVD.
@@pepeknight being able to matchup with Snake's grenades is about half the battle. Pikachu's Thunderbolts cover that for him, he's also a very quick character as well. I play Snake myself and quite a few weaknesses come out when facing Pikachu. Although, Pikachu's a higher tier character in this game as well.
