This song is great & the absolutely killed it on the vocals! 🔥🦁 Anyway I also reacted to their new song Clik Clak as well as all of their previous songs which you can find in the playlist below!✨ th-cam.com/video/gv3EtKYmF8M/w-d-xo.html
They absolutely destroyed it! Yes, eating for sure. Great reaction and comments! 👍 BTW, the storyline is that Chiquita is urgently delivering more DRIP cassettes by smashing into the record store. [ The actual cool old dude who was the record store owner in the video has a YT channel! His behind-the-scenes comments are in his video on the channel “I’m Not Marvin Music”] So the cassettes are selling so fast-even from the ice cream truck they took over-that they are running out! They need more copies because everyone is spontaneously dancing to it, as Asa reports, and the dude Ruka is trying to interview in the street right after is being arrested for bootlegging the cassettes. You can see that same dude earlier in the restaurant making a deal, where at the same time outside you see Rora is grooving and glittering! Later all the girls are in the factory manufacturing more DRIP cassettes 😎. At the end there are finally enough DRIP cassettes being delivered to keep everyone happy and partying! 🎉 Thanks again! ❤❤❤-❤-❤❤❤
I respect YG for letting Babymonster try many different styles and genres… Clik Clak was fun for what it was, and you have other tracks like Drip that showcase more compete talents
Omg, pls watch their pre-debut stuff! It's so damn good!! Their covers during last evaluation are so incredible! You won't regret watching that show I promise🙌 Ps: Their solo covers (the introductory live covers and the final ones) are still to this day my fav thing BM has released.
That maknae, Chiquita has sold out all her cover albums around the world. They had to re issue into retail stores a number of times already. She is immensely popular.
BABYMONSTER's 1st Mini Album 'BABYMONS7ER' (April 1, 2024) tracklist : 1. MONSTERS (Intro) 2. SHEESH (Title track) 3. LIKE THAT 4. Stuck In The Middle (7 ver.) 5. BATTER UP (7 ver.) 6. DREAM 7. Stuck In The Middle (Remix)
BABYMONSTER's 1st Full Album 'DRIP' (October 1, 2024) tracklist : 1. CLIK CLAK (Title track) 2. DRIP (Title track) 3. Love, Maybe 4. Really Like You 5. BILLIONAIRE 6. Love In My Heart 7. Woke Up In Tokyo (RUKA & ASA) 8. FOREVER 9. BATTER UP (Remix)
Drip > Clikclak, it's more versatile, and as much as I learned to love Clikclak, I wish the lyrics were better. If a song consists mainly of rap, the lyrical aspect needs an extra line of thought... Most KPop raps I've heard lack that aspect, so I was already expecting that, but still, these girls have so much talent, pls give them good lyrics, they can handle it. (Plus I had to listen to it 3 times before I learned to like the chorus of ClikClak)
Because of your impressive attention to detail and appreciation of music and lyrics and the art that you create, I am curious if you've looked into the Artist Ren. He's unique and I think you would like his music/art. He just released a song called Money Ties and maybe you could consider The Money Game series (parts 1-3).
It is pronounced Ah-sa. Her nickname is Ace-a because she is such an Ace so she is using her nickname in this case. BabyMonster wakes up every day and chooses violence and kills everything they do and everybody who is not a YG artist. It is YG scorched Earth policy.
Most people are Drip > Clik Clak, but it's a lot closer after the P/V for Clik Clak (it's fire af). I like Drip because it doesn't let up. The raps are also lyrically great instead of mid. While a lot of people (including me) just don't vibe with the "I have money lol" theme in CC, I think the biggest failure is the Ruka verse, usage of "eenie meenie.." and the fact that being viscious isn't connected to anything either before or after it. Might literally try rewriting her verse to see if it can theoretically be saved in the broader context of the song... after the election is over. Lmao.
This song over Clik Clak for sure. Clik Clak was ok, the lyrics brought the song down somewhat. It's somewhat of a weakness of YG right now that they don't consistently have someone to make sure their English rap lyrics are actual bars and not mostly meaningless filler. Teddy used to be that guy for Blackpink, if he wasn't straight up writing bars for them he made sure that whoever was knew what they were doing. Now he is running his own company so YG needs to bring someone in to do that for them. It sorta feels like the English rap is sorta an afterthought and they are fine with "good enough", but Blackpink and then group like XG have raised the bar for having English bars in K-Pop and "good enough" doesn't really cut it anymore.
The funny and confusing thing with Baemon is that they use a lot their nicknames like Ace-sa, Rita, Canny, AyHyeon, new fans or fans that dont follow they closely will be confused sometimes lmao

Ah-Sa is correct Ace-A is a nickname the members gave her. You notice she winks while introducing herself as Ace-A.

Her name is pronounced Ah-sa but people call her 'Ace'-sa because she's an Ace.
Ahhh okay that makes a lot more sense! I was shook when I heard her say that lol
@@AmariLeoneIn Woke up in Tokyo, she also says Ahh-Sa, the normal way. It just depends what she wants to use in the rap.
BABYMONSTER's 'DRIP' is a title track of their 1st Full Album 'DRIP'.
nice reaction as always 👍
I appreciate that! Thanks for watching!

Exactly... I like everything about clik clak except for the lyrics especially the extra repetition of clik clak...
That's totally fair! The flow of the verses and the final genre switch are my 2 favorite parts of clik clak
@@AmariLeone same🙌

No, her name is Ah-sah but Ace-ah also works.

Japanese spells differently from english... so yeah her name is Ah-Sa... Ace-sa is what people call her because she is like an ACE
Asa is correct, but sometimes she calls herself Ace-Sa as in ace.
