$750 windshield? Where the hell are you buying your windshields from? I just did the windshield for my 2001 E320 for $235 installed. These cars are absolute bargains for the price... you couldnt buy an old Civic with the same miles and condition for the price of this one.
That's because a Civic will still be reliable and economical for many, many more years, and I say that out of personal experience with both cars. As for the windshield, you should know prices vary widely between OEM and non-OEM, and with dealer, chain and independent installers. I assure you, factory quality glass will easily be more than $235.
@@AkioWasRight life is too short to drive a Civic. If all you want out of your car is transportation and you have no enthusiasm for driving or your driving experience ok... I can tell you from my own experience 20 years in the automotive industry I've done a hell of a lot more transmission overhauls on Civics than I've done on W210's. Done a few W124's with delayed reverse engagement but 0 on W210's. Honda can't seem to put a decent transmission in a Civic unless you choose a manual trans. This w210 would be my personal choice every time but that is just my opinion.
@@rx7mph Weak transmissions and all, Civics are still leagues more reliable. Also, this isn't like the same era BMW or something. W210s aren't even the least bit interesting to drive. They're essentially just German Buicks. They are completely uninteresting barges that carry you down the road.
I’m not crazy about the W210, but I’d rather quit driving altogether than drive a civic, or any other Honda. They’re so bland, uncomfortable and cheaply made.. it’s almost depressing.
Add a nice chip on the top of the windshield to be replaced for $750 and we are looking at a $3,000 car screaming!
This car will sell itself. The E class is a class Act. Period.
These older, mid-to-late-1990's Mercedes-Benz E420 sedans are bulletproof and they are tanks. The newer ones are garbage.
very pretty
