- The global rollout of 5G has spawned wild conspiracy theories, and the coronavirus pandemic was the perfect environment for them to spread.
Around Australia, a vocal band of activists have joined a worldwide protest movement against the arrival of the next generation in wireless technology known as 5G. They claim 5G is an invisible and potentially deadly health hazard, blaming the radiation emitted by the technology for a range of long-term health problems.
Four Corners investigates these claims, exploring how the technology works and examining the scientific studies undertaken into whether the technology is actually a threat to our health.

One year after this video. I HAVE 5G. My phone is still slow. The only thing that went up is my bill.

I finally have 5G. My bill is the same, but my data limit got doubled. The phone speeds are incredibly fast! My 5G on the phone is faster than my fiber optic at the house. I am not sure what you consider 'slow', but at 87 Mbps I am pretty happy with 5G. 😎

Its amazing how we have all this technology and all these phones and computers but life gets harder every year. It's not making us more free or saving time. It's consuming our lives and we get less done and we think we have tobstay in touch by the minute to everyone we know. In the 1990s and before.... you had to call from home or go to someone's house to interact. And life was so much more relaxed and easy.

Im 70 and got my first mobile, nokia flip at the age of 40. Still not attached to it as some but it is good if i need to get help when out.

It's somewhat disconcerting that an issue of how the increase of, (Electromagnetic Fields) may have something to do with, Fish Die off, Whales Beaching themselves, Birds Falling From The Sky. None of this has happened so close together before. Why wasn't it brought up.

Already thought of ditching chipped technology and appliances. Which means getting off the grid including losing your car unless it still has roll down windows. Build a greenhouse to sustain food source, get some horses for travel (never thought of buggy, thank you) and build a winterized cabin somewhere in the far north near a lake. Don't forget water tower. Play board games, learn to hand sew, garden in the summer, learn to hunt a dry meats, learn to survive with no money. Learn to live a real life.

While everyone has mentioned fears of radiation etc and a little bit about online surveillance etc, that is not my main concern. It's the fact 5G is essentially a weapons system, a radar, hence the excessive amount of aerials needed on every block. This allows real-time radar capability, much like an X-Ray capable of seeing through walls. This allows the operator, your Government to look through walls in real-time and see what you are up to. It can also 'tag' someone and once done can track them worldwide, forever.If that doesn't scare you then say Goodbye to Freedom for all humanity.
Supposedly, our D.O.D. put a patent on the 5G "frequency" in 1955(1957?), As a weapon. Thoughts could be implanted in others through this technology, with some thinking it's "there own thoughts", others, from "God" ,or a "higher being" communicating with them.
I later heard how The Soviet Union used this technology on their own people, especially during their ominous Military Parades, where they'd have all their most serious weapons, and troops in tight formations. There'd be literally over a million Soviet Citizens standing totally still, no one conversing at all but most everyone was "at Attention" as the Display went by? They seemed very much in agreement with The Soviet Union, though we knew that most didn't feel that way personally. Apparently many still loved The Soviet Union, or at least that's what we were told about these incredible displays of "might"!
The above info came from several sources, in that order, so it's been used way before cell phones. We've had "US Embassy" workers leave Cuba because of some kind of "energy weapon" that was making workers very sick. I believe more than once?
Forgive my Rambling please, but one other major effect I noticed when the "30 day Lockdown" started. I didn't notice feeling any different, but I have a cat, and she might have well been walking on the ceiling, like gravity switched? It was extremely apparent something was effecting her? I'd have thought I had a different cat, otherwise. But I noticed it Day 1 that The US Lockdowns began, and continued until the Lockdown ended 1 month later? Then, very strangely, I heard an announcement on our News that Covid-19 was "coming back around Texas soon"(like a weather forecast? We usually know where it's been, after it's effected the area, not before?
Well, within 10 days or so, my cat went right back into being the same cat as during the Lockdowns? Like a different cat!
I totally believed that the 30 day Lockdown was to test 5G, where available, at the highest possible frequency to see if anyone felt symptoms, etc, and of course, animals always notice a change in nature first.
My cat has been acting very normal again, every since late April, 2020..?
It seems the 2 aren't related to each other anymore, basically. 5G has had plenty of backlash since, and hasn't spread as much as I expected, while this "Virus" has gotten to ridiculous extremes, with people still dying in hospitals, even though a very cheap, simple, extremely helpful medication that could reduce death 80% or more when patients are in the ICU, and this safe medication, Ivermectin, can't be discussed by media outlets in The US, as it's "not part of our protocol of using vaccines".
We can be told how most of India beat The Delta Variant within 2 weeks, yet we're not supposed to know how they did it? It's not in our protocol! Not many were Vaxxed, but most State's in India gave everyone Ivermectin (daily as a prophylactic against Covid-19, or used in later stages of illness, helping the patient get better in a few days).
The info is out there. Usually in articles that show a lot of links to the facts that brought about treatment changes to start with, along with results. Hint; Look into India! One State there has decided to go by The US protocol, and is still having considerable cases and deaths.
A positive. This medication is still available in The USA, but only for animals, and OTC, no prescription for the Animal version. Many of these were made for horses and a horses weight, so only take the amount for your body weight!
I haven't taken it, but maybe in an emergency?!
Hopefully the actual human version will be allowed here. Anything that legitimately helps us and has decades of safety and is super inexpensive, must be told about, in this Country of Freedom!

Yes, it gives them more control over your life. Some examples come to mind. Using too much heat or a/c, lets control their thermostat. Your fridge is locked because you opened it too many times. Look around on top of apartment buildings, commercial buildings, and towers outside the cities. You will see enough of those white panels, you can't miss them. Their about 14-16" wide and about 3-6' in length. These panels emit microwave, if turned up full could do serious damage to your eyeballs. When you look around there is so so many of them. 3\4 of Canada have no ide that they even exist, they believe only what their told by mainstream media bought and paid for by government and the elites.

Most of what they're describing can still be done with the tech we already have. Are smart machines necessarily better? For every new technology there's a downside. Maybe the activists have a point.

The question is regarding radiation. So how come you did not find out that the 5g radiation is directional, ie pinpointed to the phone involved, or if desired, to the person targetted. Why was this angle on the complaint not dealt with directly? The problem with its directionality of frequencies is that an unwanted person can be targetted repeatedly with, therefore, excessive radiation. This can be a political tool, just like chemical or biological poisons. It is clear, that it can be used covertly to take political control. It is also clear that 4corners or the ABC did not do their job, because if I can know this detail from the internet, why not the ABC including ALL the interviewees selected from. You should have mentioned it. I don't trust you lot.

This tech is unlikely to produce deliterious health effects. The radio frequencies used by 4G and 5G are not ionizing bandwiths and studies that show in mice inc cancer rates used constant, high intensity exposure at short range. Your exposure to radon gas, especially if you live in the western part of the US is far more problematic. I should also say that light, X-rays, and UV have far greater energy per photon than 5G high frequency radio transmissions.
All current 5G rollouts operate in the same bands as existing 3G and 4G services. mmwave bands have not yet been licensed or franchised. As you say, it's only RF. These people will stand next to a red hot BBQ, in midday July sun, and then worry about a cellular tower half a mile away!!!!

Lots of this is really nuts but one thing an activist said here struck a chord - 'there's been no community consultation', this is totally true - of all technology, from 5G to CCT to facial recognition technology to fracking to the use of antibiotics in agriculture.. although I for one am looking forward to 5G maybe we should demand to have a seat at the table with the technologies we are using?

Yes I agree but whatever their reason or strategy 5g is still very dangerous in many ways and it's main use is certainly not for better phone signals or faster internet. Many experts are speaking out about high concentration's of Graphene Oxide being used in "the vaccine" and the way it enters into the brain. Interestingly Graphene Oxide and 5g waves hook up seamlessly. Also 5g waves can disrupt the normal function of human cells and cause them to release exosome's (viruses) so 5g causing "the virus" doesn't seem so far fetched now.

Well I mean some people don't have access to the internet at all. It's very difficult to perfect 4G. It's much easier to just roll out 5G.
The problem with the antennas is the cheap lack of engineering principals in the design as the cheap antenna have large amount of reflective (VSWR) properties and in most cases those antennas have no testing with polar scalar networking analysis or relative gain in the pass band, or the out of band rejection levels near the noise spectrum. It is the subharmonic and frequency multiplication effects of the antenna that also emits RF microwave signals

Renewable energy is more of a joke. At the moment, the equipment used creates sooo much toxic pollution making them, with very little recycling purposes, only for them to be thrown out and more highly toxic equipment is created to replace them, so people can feel better about themselves, governments subsidise this technology and the biggest polluting companies have also vested interests in this industry and make trillions doing it.
If people took pollution so seriously, then no one would update their vehicle for example. The second you buy a new car, that new car has already made more pollution than the running car that you replace it with ever could. And that is before you even drive it out of the dealership, regardless of combustion or electric engine. People today are so hypocritical about the environment, they are quick to pick on a bloke for driving a V8, but see nothing wrong with constantly upgrading their phones, tablets PCs etc, where most are built by people with slave type wages and conditions

I remember hearing about the 5g issues 3-5 years ago and basically, low dose radiation is much more deadly over a long period of time. However, who knows if the technology has been optimized or improved since then or if it'll be implemented with the optimizations to make it harmless.
You can look up the symptoms or dangers or low dose radiation vs high dose radiation. Should detail the dosage amounts for the effects and then you can compare that to the radiation emitted by 5g towers, if that information is available.
