5:00 Been there at least a dozen times in 40 years and the one skeleton I always remember is that Styracosaurus in the plaster block in the glass case in the background. I still have a photo from the late 80's of that specimen and it's pretty cool to see it still there after 30+ years. Also they did a great job of revamping the Hall Of Ocean Life. That room had poor lighting and the displays looked run down up until the mid 90's.
Ahh 7th grade what an amazing field trip so glad I went I wish i had a time machine so I could go back and walk through it again. I suggest if u haven't gone it's amazing so if u have the spare cash and time u know go you want regret it.

I worked there as a security guard great place but one time I open a crate an plume of magic dust shot straight out the crate. Well all the exhibits were alive and running wild but only at night and on my shift as well true story they even made a movie about it.
I hope to see a digital museum for world's most famous celebrities and figures where school students can visit and watch 3d avatar of selected historical celebrity at certain port in the museum.

This statue with Roosevelt symbolizes the "Rough Rider" Calvery. In 1898, Native American Men, Africa American Men and White American Men followed Roosevelt into war to liberate Cuba from Spain. Roosevelt rode a horse called "Little Texas" making him the only Rough Rider who was mounted during battle. The Calvery horses for regular troops were left behind in Florida because there was no way to ship them to Cuba.

Man, this brings back so many memories. I have gone to this place so many times as a child. I need to return sometime this year
I always got freaked out when I was young because I thought the fossils at the entrance were gonna fall on me 😂
I've had several class trips to muesuems but so far This and the muesuem of moving images are my favorites!
