To people who are being frustrated by Oyei put yourself in his shoes his Mom died his dad left and he was left with responsibilities to take care of Yak he did what he thought was right to make his little brothers dreams come true and don't forget he also needed guidance but there was no One to guide him 😢....the way my tears came down when they were fighting and then hugged each other 😭.

I actually understand Oyei, he is acting like how parents typically act when they are faced with adversity. He keeps things to himself and doesn't want to burden his family. But I also think he should speak up now that everything is out in the open. He has Cher and Yak who love him a lot and will support him as much as they can.
Oyei represents the eldest child that was abandoned and all the responsibility was on his shoulder, how he will support him and yak.
ONLY ASIAN ELDER SIBLINGS / SISTERS CAN RELATE TO THIS !! But when Yak offered to help Yei after their fight, it somewhere healed me ! I can relate cuz I am an elder sister and I just want to give the best of everything to my sister without making her worry about anything ❤

ok but honestly, I don't blame Yei for not wanting to see their dad. The guy completely abandoned them for a new family when they both needed him the most. Yei had to step up and fill that roll without knowing how. Who cares if he's sick? He clearly didn't care about them. I came to the comments to see if anyone was saying this and all I saw were people laughing along to the cursed "joke". It wasn't funny and with the context of his relationship with them, it's actually vile. My face was the same as Oyai's. Their father has no place to make " jokes" like that, he should be apologizing and thanking them for even showing up 🙄
This!! I am totally understanding why Yei did what he did. Stepping into the role of parent instead of sibling is a big deal. It's a huge responsibility, and the dad just up and left and started a new family. Makes me sick.
If I was Yei I would also be suspicious of reason that their father suddenly came back into their lives years after he abandoned them. It seems like he never kept in touch with his sons. Made me think that maybe he knew he had cancer and that’s why he went to search for his sons to get his sons to forgive him before he dies. In my opinion, he’s a bad father who gives bad advice (best each other to get out your grievances). and his comments/questions (why didn’t Yoryak punch his opponent) seem to be just to put them down. Honestly at this point I see no reason to forgive him or even see him in the hospital.
this series is one of the best gmmtv has ever created. it deals with financial issues and job scholarships as well as acknowledging hpv vaccines and broken families 🥺 it's so refreshing to see a bl series that is not all about sex or betrayal and breakups instead it portrays real life issues that people face.

If I started this series because I loved the chemistry, I watching and going to keep watching till it end because of the brotherhood between yak and yei.. they are the best and greenest brother relationship I have seen.. I love how Yei can't fight against his Little brother over a small arguments and keep his guard down while taking Yak's fight..

Omggg. Cher is such a cutieee. I love him so much. I've said before that Kao is slowly becoming my most favorite character in the show taking Dee's place but now? Cher is a really strong contender. He might take first place after all. His fit and look in the hospital looked so good on him.
One of the things I love the most about this series is Yei and Yak relationship. They are so compatible as brothers. I would love for Thor and Great to be brothers in every series.

This show is such a good example of siblings with missing/irresponsible parents. My older sister and I worked a lot like Oyei and Yak. She tried to do it all by herself and I had to remind her that I was as old as she was when she started handling doing things because my parents (for their own reasons) dropped the ball. Now, we’re each other’s life line when it comes to family matters.

THIS SERIES JUST KEEPS ON HURTING ME ISTG ESPECIALLY THESE TWO !! i wanna applaud the director and writer for making and showing yei's and yak's brotherhood all throughout this series. they did so well at casting them, and at executing these scenes to the viewers. the acting was so good, and the lines? damn, it was always straight to the heart. i love that they were able to show not only the relationship between the main characters, but also their relationship to each and everyone of the casts, especially yei and yak's genuine love and care towards each other. it was all so well-written. 👏
The brothers’ fight and make up scene had me in tears. As the oldest I can relate to Yei so much TT so emotional ❤️ Great and Thor did so well expressing those emotions 💘
One of the hardest things to do is to ask for help. To some that means you're weak and can't live up to expectations. I love seeing these emotional moments between Yak and Yei, their partners and family/friends. I hope Yei can learn to let go of his pride a little in order to get the help he should be receiving.

While I get what you're saying, that's the reason Cher brought it to their father's attention; he KNEW that's exactly what he'd make them do. They needed to clear the air. In a previous episode, they punched it out to resolve an issue they faced. That's what they do.
