I got a set of 60 from BM last week gifted to my sister couple days later and order some more from different place on line hoping they are the same as the BM ones I didn’t realise until I watched your channel that there are different twin time markers.I had never used alcohol markers before and found them great and easy to use.
Ohoooooohoooooo!!! 😅 Lovely “seeing” you on YT again Lily. I’ve “hovered” over these markers a couple of times, because I don’t have any brush tipped alcohol markers, but, as I’m still trying to get through my “el cheapo” ones and, considering I’m NOT doing ANYTHING colouring wise or any other crafting/hobbying “stuff” I won’t be purchasing them any time soon 😊
Makes sense. I've only just started going through my stuffs again. Was surprised that these were decent, especially for the with price with the storage rack thingymabob. 🥰
hi Lily. great video. I was playing with the arteza markers earlier while watching tv they are great markers. i have the 60 set decotime markers which were my first set plus a smaller set of decotime markers i really like those i'm hoping to get more sets of those when i can find them. Hope you are well.
Yay! Glad you are playing with the Arteza markers. I was surprised with the Decotime markers, they're definitely worth the money. I'd get the other 60 set if I saw them too!
I have 170 DecoTime markers, they are very pigmented, and they last well. Some colors are very similar, but it still a good deal. I found mine at Action. I've never been to B&M, but I looked their website, and I didn't find anything related with coloring. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Lily Hope you are okay. Thank you so much for once again doing a comparison spreadsheet. I got the twin markers as a 50 set then a 60 set came about then the different coloured 12 sets its all so confusing as similar colurs were in different twelve sets i think they keep repackaging the same pens in different combis. they do streak a little in large areas, but it was all I knew when I started. I then upgraded to Spectrum noir classique - only to find they stopped selling open stock when i only had 24 left to get. They also did the aqua markers. So for a recent Big b'day got the case of 300 decotime all new. IF and only if I really love alcohol markers will I invest in the 320 ohuhu. Thanks again for reading this. Take care hope the diamond painting is going well and your not too stressed at work.
I've seen that case of 300 hundred DecoTime markers... gorgeous! Yes there definitely seems to be a lot of different sets, The Range & B&M both have their own combos! 😵💫
Wow Lilly , you put so much work, into this video and every one you do xxxx ....lovely video . Happy swathing hon bless xxxxxxx Getting my new big Desk reads. It is sunny today ! We picked up some solid wooden draws for free. to store my paper stash . I have missed you xxx Happy coloring xxx
Wow! You are playing with pens AND pens I have! 🤣 I got the old 60 for Christmas ’22 from my nephew and his fiancée. I strongly believe that they were a return as one of the brush nibs was wreaked and the cap had a chunk took out of it. It still closed though. So I swatched them out at the time then put them away. I got them out last week expecting them to be dried up but they weren’t. Funnily enough I was in B&M today and I was debating about getting some of the 12 pack sets to add to them. There was also a tin of 40 for £15 that I was really tempted to buy. Coz the tin was really nice! 🤣 x
Lovely video, I only have these markers and some old copic ciaos. I always get a bit FOMO that everyone seems to use and review Ohuhus but for use in a colouring book I have found them really good and cheap
@@tanyahuyton598 the best way to stop the overlapping is to keep the edge of where you are colouring wet, keep the pen moving, don’t let the edge dry because then when you start again or overlap with another colour it will show a harsh line. I’m going to do a video about this when I’m back from holiday 🥰
@ArtJourneyUK i thought that, does that work with alcohol ones? I'll keep an eye out for your next video and thank you again for replying, this is new to me and I'm card making with stamps that need colouring in neatly x
I love these markers for colour by number. I had no idea that they did a set larger than 60! Thank you for a great video Lily 😊 I think the storage system has improved as mine are held together with gorilla tape 😅
Just bought the 60 set from B&M today. Downloaded both old and new swatch sheets but my set has different colours to the video so have had to make my own swatch sheet.
I wish they sell single markers. I bought a 60 pack plus some 12 paks, plus 4 pens set. But some are the same, and I don't have others. But for the price, is realy worth it
I like these, they are shin han compatible colours with a few I’ve never seen and can’t source refills for 😢, it was a bit of a project comparing them to my shin Han originals and budget markers 😂😂😂 EDIT, they remind me at the fine end, of the illustrator fine nib, I did wonder where they inspired as a budget illustrate alternative.

Just bought a 60 set for my soon to be 8 year old niece, I'm not sure my brother is going to be happy with the alcohol smell 🤦♂️😂 actually interested in getting the same set for myself/my partner to mess around with. I'm interested in how well that blending pen works as I was initially looking at the watercolour set for easy blending but I prefer the punch you get from the alcohol type markers
@DarkAbyssMiniatures The Alcohol smell from the Decotime Markers isnt as bad as some of the other markers (and nowhere near a pungent as Sharpies 😵💫😅)
I have two sets of these, (120) they are ok, I find they can be a bit streaky in large areas, compared to my Ohuhu's, perhaps because of the very small brush, but I think its the ink really. They are great value for money though, and as you say, the pen holder is excellent,. I've just put all my Arrtx paint markers in the holder, as they fit so nicely, and don't take up too much room. I'm half tempted to buy two more sets just for the pen holders! I haven't noticed any yellowing either (so far!) 👍 I tend to use them when I don't want to run out a better pen, but they would be great for colour by number stuff!
Hi Lily! I have the big whole set of 300 colours come in a metal case for €69.99!! Unfortunately this set is not available anymore…..i have also the full Copic set but i like the feel of the Twinmarkers better… am i stupid?🫣😂😂

Is there a new third set of twinmarkers now? The one I just bought doesn’t match either of the sheets you posted

Absolutely! These are decent markers, especially for the money. And the smell of Ohuhu pens still always gets to me! 😵💫
What's the best ones that don't show much overlapping when you colour in, hope that makes sense. Where they go darker when they meet x😊

I've seen this very fancy metal suitcase with 300 in it! It's very lust worthy 😅. Yes, they are absolutely ideal for colour by number 🥰

@paulineshaw4035 oooo does that mean there is a new 60 set Pauline? Out of interest, are they square or triangular barrel?
Triangular barrel. There's a 0 colourless blender and some neon shades.
Interesting!

Looks like they are from the Touch marker family. I recognise most of the colours. Which were based on the Shin Han colour scheme as you say.🥰

I use them in smal circles overlapping the ink and wet the paper with them and they come out perfectly streakless!
