Did you go from the Timemaster lowest setting (either 1" or 1.25" depending on model) right to 0.5" with the Yard Force? Or did you try any settings in between.
Hard to find sunjoe nowadays. Plus sunjoes are notorious for breaking when it runs over mulch and woody tipe objects. I've ran over small rocks with this thing, it's made of harden steel. Way better than sunjo. It's only 20v but comes with 2 two 2A batteries. For $150 dollars cheaper, it cannot be beat
@THEDIYCHANNEL1 I am interested in this item for use in the city, and I have a sunjoe hybrid mower at the campground that has seen its share of abuse and keeps on trucking! Mabey the one that you're talking about was defective?
Using a reel mower seems like a beating to me. Not just using, but the upkeep of it as well. That things sounds like it's about to explode. Good luck!
BlacGyver hahahahaha love that! Thanks for the review - I bought one of these last summer and it’s still kickin’ it.
How do you sharpen/backlap the mower?
I purchased one a couple weeks ago for the same price. I love mine.
Was it self propelled?
Not self-propelled
@@BlacGyver Picked one up a few months ago for around $200. It cuts pretty good, you just need a clean yard. I wish it was 18" or 20" wide.
Thanks for the review. You mentioned the drive. Is it self propelled or not? I was unsure by your comments
It's not self propelled, but it cuts when you push it without the power on

Yes, I started off with the lowest setting on the timemaster then went straight to the .50" on the yardforce

@suzannetisseur2872 yeah, I think it was, I got a new one and it worked just fine
Is a follow up coming? Came here to see if there's a cheap cordless reel out there worth buying.
I did make a follow up! I love that reel. It's doing a great job. Very clean cut.
@@BlacGyver bro..did you buy extra battery for the yardforce? If yes, can you provide info what part # and where you bought it…thanks
@abukid4857 no....it came with 2 batteries, and so far, both of them are working fine
@@BlacGyver k, thanks..Home Depot sells it for $47. I bought one. I have big yard so no delay when I mow.
Yes siiirrrrrr! I see ya!👍🏾🖖🏾🌴
Mine won't start just got it brand new hopeing it's just a short in wire
The handle is free floating so the mower goes over uneven terrain better
