Y'know, this type of Judgement Cut End makes so much sense for a younger Vergil (obviously not by the time of DMC3, since that's the last we see of Vergil fighting as himself, where he's effectively learned everything he knows until DMC 5), where he's not yet mastered the art of JCE, and instead starts out by attempting to maximize the number of JCs he can do in a wide area in a short amount of time, over time improving and moving fast enough that he turns the entire field into one supermassive Judgement Cut, which becomes the Judgement Cut End we know today.
Honestly I'd have loved if they did something like this or if there were a mod like this for DMC4SE, since Vergil's presence in Fortuna predates the events of DMC3 by a good year or two, which, for someone who's been training with Yamato, effectively since his childhood, would probably be enough time for him to get a decent grip on JCE by the time he fights Dante in the Underworld.
while you have a good point, you shouldn't forget that vergil gets really desperate to get power by the end of dmc3 and it shows when his devil trigger phases are either helm breaker spam or the unrefined JCE, after all, when a person gets angry, he's likely to make a mistake
I thought only the two cutscenes in dmc4se were canon for vergil, it probably wouldve been like that in the “canon”
I think it fits that 4SE, he can only do it while juiced by DT so.

It puts a smile on my face seeing DMC3SE still getting mod support, and with such MOTIVATING mods too. It's astonishing, but we finally get to do DMC3's iteration of JCE.

That is the sickest thing ever. There's so many things you showed that I really wished DMC3 had from the start, but nonetheless we now have access to that using DDMK and other mods. Fucking crazy shit in just literally a minute and 5 seconds!

Great! Now we just need to mod Dante's Volcano and Vortex from his Beowulf and Nevan movesets into Vergil's Beowulf and Force Edge/Yamato movesets, put them on steroids and have the same input as this JCE, then done: DMC3 version of Hell on Earth and Deep Stinger.
Someday it will be possible to mod DMC 5 movesets (for Vergil at least) into DMC 3!
Capcom really should just implement these mods in future releases of the HDs

What I want to see on Vergil in DMC 5:
Replace the Doppleganger with Normal Devil Trigger, then give his NDT the Judgement Cut Spam like in this video & let his SDT have JCE just like on the DMC 5. Then, Vergil will have some variety of attack just like Dante's have.
How you do that royal guard like that in the air at 0:05 ?? Its so cool i wanna do it too
It is 'Just Release', but in the mod you can enable it so using forward + style on royalguard, gives you this move always (no need to block an attack). This is because this move launches the enemy, in DMC3 there's no other way to launch in the air easily.

Yo dmc 3 nailed that steel glass asthectic for attack effects and look. Wish other games improved on it rather then adding generic lighting and making every weapon a bug zapper

@@Kinghvofficial You need to play as "Boss Vergil". This is possible only if you put 2 Characters and use Char Switcher! There's a movelist if you look at the "Overlays" section.

I installed the mod after I downloaded DMC HD collection and DMC 3 does not start. Please help me install the mod!
If you didn't get it on Steam, then it's an update somewhere else for HD Collection. I'd recommend to get it from steam though.
