    Is the new Baleno 2022 better than magnite as a family car, for occasional highway drives and mostly city use?.which one handles bad roads better? What about overall comfort for family and driver?

      Hi,
      I'll answer all three questions in this comment. I think that if majority of your driving is in the city, the Baleno is a better car (for manual gearbox). I haven't driven the automatic versions so I'm not the best to judge.
      The reason I say this is because the Baleno's ergonomics are on point, which matters a lot in the city. The lower end responses are also sharper than the Magnite, which has a lot of turbo lag. And you have to appreciate the additional airbags in the Zeta variant compared to the Magnite XL 🙂
      I haven't driven the new Baleno but I have read that the ride is better. The Nissan's ride is better than the old Baleno but the Baleno is more nimble in terms of handling.
      When it comes to comfort, I'd choose the front seats of the Baleno and the rear seats of the Magnite. Overall though, I'd choose the Baleno because the driver seat is better in the Baleno.

    Some vloggers say that the steering has self centering issue . Is it true?

      Hi,
      I did not find any issues in the self centering. It is not as bad as some Marutis and it's not agressive as old hydraulic units. I think the force is good enough to not worry about it.

      Safety of baleno is worst. Magnite has 4 stars in Global NCAP

    You want to know the X Factor of Magnite...It is the Safest Turbo CVT. Nexon and XUV 300 are safe but do not have proper automatic. Venue and Sonet have good automatics but their safety is questionable as seltos got on 3 stars in Global NCAP. Brezza is old.
    Again to summarize - The USP/X Factor of Magnite is Safe (4 stars in Global NCAP), Turbo petrol, Proper smooth CVT instead of unreliable DCTs or jerky AMTs.
    You have not bought the correct variant and saying here that Magnite has no X Factor. Better to do market research before forming an informed opinion.

    CVT lena chahiye tha bhai...mai chala raha hu CVT...ekdam makkhan jaisa smotth hai CVT

      Hi,
      This isn't my car, I was just reviewing this:) I agree that the CVT is a better gearbox for Magnite as the gearing would be much better as its continuously variable. The gearing in the manual is too tall.
