My first blister appeared in the early 1990's on the side of my left thumbnail... I would get an outbreak maybe twice a year and would last about a week and it would be gone within 2 weeks... I always hoped it would go away on it's own, but it always returned 1 to 2 times a year... Well, in the 2000's, when it would return, it moved to the middle of my thumb, then another time it moved to the base of my thumb.... in the 2010's, when it comes back, it's now on the palm of my hand... It's impossible to say what you're experiencing
but does it move within days like if you have an outbreak and have that outbreak and then a day or two later its also on your leg or thighs or inner thighs
No, it doesn't move a lot. It will stay in a similar region.
@jojalinda87 @lifewithherpes I was diagnosed with hsv2 in 2012 and having outbreaks almost every month once or twice (mostly on my PMS or after beach days) for 10 years. My outbreaks always come out on different parts of both legs or my waist area. I’ve had outbreaks on +10 different parts of my body (not upper than my waist or lower than my knees). When I first diagnosed, it was on my genital area (was so painful!!) however after that, it’s spreaded out to my legs and I do not have it on my genital anymore. They are still very painful, itchy and burning!😔 but YES, it can move to other parts of your body!!! I currently have 2 now, one is on my back waist (right side) and another one is on my front leg (left leg).😢
@@cansus.5099 I was diagnosed with hsv2 around that same time. The first one was the worst, I had fever and chills, and very painful blisters on my genitals. But over the years it became less frequent and less severe. Sometimes I only get tingling down my leg then it goes away within a few days. But this one I’m experiencing is something new. It inside my anus. It burns and hurts, but what’s worse is that I have body aches and chills! And I haven’t had that since the first breakout! Is that normal?
@@lifewithherpescan you get it in your eye? If you have hsv2 and you where showering and after you touched the blister during a breakout your eye itched and outta instinct you rubbed it with the same hand 😢
If you touch your genital herpies and touch your month can you get type 2 on your mouth or is that now type 2?
Theoretically, it's unlikely once you have the antibodies, but in some rare cases it can happen. But, yes, if that would happen, it's still HSV2, just oral.

When you get infected, the body starts building up antibodies and once you have those antibodies, if you come in contact with herpes again, the body will recognize it and fight it. Hence, in general it won’t appear on another part of the body. There are some studies suggesting this can still happen, especially when our immune system is weak, for example.
So, technically, you can get herpes in two places, if your body has not yet developed those antibodies, meaning you come into contact with it simultaneously or in a short period of time, or simply that still happens sometimes, as mentioned above.

It can.
