The most beautyful performance of "Laudate" I've ever heard.
But I am missing the pueri (?).
Arggghh ! Toujours aussi jolies les Italiennes ! Les voix aussi d'ailleurs ! Grazie !
like those fresh voices Collegium Musicum, congratulations !
Esecuzione meravigliosa, equilibrata e dinamica. Bravissime.
Beautiful performance!!!!!
I watch this and am tempted to sing along. This is beautiful. I love performing and listening to this song (I sing 1st Soprano)
Never heared it performed like that. Awesome - and definetly my favourite interpretation!!
Suse listen to Aurin choir's performance of this. Much cleaner
Beautiful, just beautiful!
Gorgeous piece I learned in ninth grade, and for years I couldn't remember the composer. How great to find it here. Unfortunately, in Beati Omnes at 5:00 the high soprano sings a wrong note, half step down from where it should be -- which changes the entire mood so there isn't the ecstatic climax and resolution. The conductor should have caught this in rehearsal!
Very beautiful!
Super!!!!
Bravissime! Sto imparando la questa canzone nel mio coro femminile a Gordon College. Pero` non cantiamo le parole cosi` magnificamente perche' siamo americane haha
what is the 2nd part? also Laudate pueri? Lovely singing
laudate pueri (dominus) is proving very hard to translate, with my only newly completed set of basic knowledge. a rough translation is 'the boys had been praised by the master', but because 'laudate' is the perfect passive participle, it should translate as 'having been praised'. this requires another verb, because 'the having-been-praised boys, the master', 'the master having been praised, the boys', and even 'the boys, having been praised by the master' don't make much sense. for example, it would make more sense if the sentence was 'laudate pueri dominus, redierunt domo', meaning 'having been praised by their master, the boys returned home'. this obviously makes much more sense because there is actually a main clause. without this other clause, however, i have no idea how to translate this. i will ask my teacher and latin friends :)
Trop vite! - Too fast! Very beautiful voices though!
¿porqué tanta prisa al cantar el Laudate pueri?
Voci meravigliose ma ritmo troppo veloce che impoverisce il brano. Peccato!
Come cantate male ragazze. Un po' di sublime?!
Veramente bravi perché è sentita,
