Greetings! I'm a 7th Grade Science teacher in Massachusetts (USA), still teaching 100% remotely due to coronavirus. I've been giving my students a tour of modern African music, one country each day. I play the music in the background for the first few minutes while they do an opening task to get them ready for the lesson. This song is my choice from Botswana. I love the mixture of modern and traditional, the soaring chorus and the fun video that sheds light on Botswana village life. My students responded very favorably to it. Thanks for making it!
