Camera didn’t film my reaction to the lyrics so here it is: For me, Halazia is a parallel world where Ateez describes their feelings, pain and rage! Nothing is controlled by them but they try to deal with the injustice! It’s the first time I see a kpop group talking about society problems and struggles! I really loved the meaning of the song! Plus, in the mv you can tell they are fighting against this injustice and their own problems, with the chains they carry and the huge balls they try to “get rid off”. At the end, when the ball falls on someone and doesn’t crush him but he “absorbs it”, it makes me feels like he took all the pain from the others to try to save them! And then at the very end, when the guys where just looking at him makes me feel like they are the one with power in this world, they see the pain, but don’t interfere! I loved the song! It’s definitely one of my favourite ever!!
Just to clear things up... The songs are part of their storyline but the storyline is as a whole about injustice and people in power controlling😉 (and just to be fair many kpop groups have songs about social injustice, but ateez does it the most and I think on the biggest scale.... Maybe bts comes close tho, you just haven't heard baby bts being angry...)
